Welcome back to the Raptors Republic NFL Dynasty League! Congratulation to Tucas for winning the 2022 FDL Super Bowl! He knocked out the 2021 Champs, drizz, in the finals and so he most certainly earned it!

With that said, the league is now renewed and you all should be able to enter the 2023 FDL league page. In case you're looking for last seasons league page it's still there for you also: 2022 FDL league page. This season marks a historical league first, an IDP rebalancing to bring IDP to similar importance to that of IOP and maybe open up some new and interesting team builds in the seasons to come. You can see the updated scoring settings we previously discussed in the league settings page and you can view last year's results with the new IDP scoring settings on the 2023 page by going to the Players section and sorting by All Players, All Defense, 2022 Season (total).

Roster Submission: Sunday, August 20th

• If you miss the deadline your entire roster will be carried forward and you, therefore, forfeit your draft picks (submitting a tentative list early would help you avoid this).
• Minimum roster carryover: 25 players
• Maximum roster carryover: 30 players
• For every player kept above 25 players, a draft pick will be forfeited starting at round five and progressing to round 1.

Last years performance was political for me.
Long on promises but pretty short on delivery.

But its a new year.
A new format.
Armed with the same Defensive and Offensive Co ordinator.
This year has a different feel about it.

This draft class looks alright. Right now it appears to have one sure stud at the top and then a large group of players who could be studs. I'm glad I have two tickets for the Bijan lottery, I like those 50/50 odds! The best pick I've ever held has been a #4 and I'm guaranteed at least on pick better than that.

In reviewing my roster I noticed Yahoo didn't carry over all my players from the final week of last season. The big name that caught my attention to this was Joey Bosa. Looking more closely, Joey Bosa isn't even on the players list for 2023 in Yahoo right now. You guys might be missing some guys also so take note and I'm sure Yahoo will add these guys back in but there's always a chance that they don't hit your player list and instead hit the FA player pool.

I'm open to the idea of trading some of my vets. Justin Herbert, Dalvin Cook, Keenan Allen and Bobby Wagner are available. I'm looking for another first or a high second.

Training camp is around the corner. Next week for rookies and UDFAs and the various Cinderella stories who make big waves during camp. Court dates are almost as important as injury updates as the season is on the horizon.
Some big name RBs (Zeke and Lombardi Lenny) are showing veteran savvy by not signing till training camps begin so they can miss two a days. Kyle Pitts owners are wondering if he finds a way to hurt them yet again.

Trust everyone is as well as they can be and all are back for season12 where Tucas defends his title.
Time to kick tucas in the tukis this season.

This is the Year of Pitts. He will have a very competent run game and I expect a lot of redzone targets and tuddies this season.

We're roughly two months out from week one of the season and this draft looks soooo good, even without knowing what vets will hit the market. Our league draft has a tradition of the #1 selecting team missing at least the first round and that would be a huge score for my team picking #2 but damn, there are a couple of dudes outside of Robinson and Gibbs that I really, really like and one in particular that I'm planning to take at #4 if he's still there. He might be worth my #2 even though I'm not taking him there. Good luck figuring that one out because there are like five or six guys who you could argue slot in as the best asset outside of Robinson and Gibbs.

It's amazing to me how that coaching staff reduced him to a blocking tight end last year. You'd think he would be a big safety blanket up the middle. Instead, they schemed him into a 4th overall dud.
