I'm right on the playoff border again in the draft grades. I'm looking at maybe trading off another one of my long-time stud vet receivers. If you're interested in Keenan Allen then he can be had for draft capital. He's 100% healthy again and should be poised for another big season.

Kelce is out with a hyper-extended knee. Christian Watson hasn't practiced this week with a pulled hammy. Skyy Moore was hyped up all summer as being Mahomes' new second target and what happens? Fucking nothing. Brutal. lol

Quite the scenes at Met Life Stadium the last two nights. First, my Cowboys absolutely slaughter the GMen on Sunday night... then last night, the new golden boy of NY sports comes flying onto the field with Old Glory in hand and the crowd is going nuts. 4 snaps later, A aron Rodgers goes down with a torn achillies. Somehow, Zach Wilson leads the Jets to an improbable OT win over the hapless Bills?! Who'da thunk it???
As much as I don't care for the guy or the player, it's tough to see one of the game's best go out like this. I can't imagine he makes the comeback at 41 or 42, but with all the hype leading into this season he might feel like he owes it to the team to give them at least one year.Comment

It's a horrible way to go out, and I hope he is able to return at 100%, but this might be it for Rodgers. He wasn't as mobile as he used to be, and it was impacting his play last season. The Achilles is hard to rehab, even for a young player, so if he is able to find the will to return next season, he's not going to be the MVP Aaron Rodgers that the Jets paid for in the 2023 1st round pick swap, the 2023 2nd rounder, the 2024 2nd rounder, and the 2023 6th rounder. To pay all that for a preseason and four regular season snaps is the most Jets thing ever. They have the worst luck. In other news, a win for the rebuilding Creeds! And Zay Flowers is gold. Dalton Kincaid is gonna be gold once Josh Allen starts playing like a QB instead of a dufus RB.Comment
