Older seasons have varied in number of games, so it's not 1:1, but I found these seasons better than 17-2:

2023 planetmars is 17-2 (.895)
2020 007 was 14-1-1 (.906)
2018 007 was 18-1-1 (.925)
2018 Axel was 18-2 (.900)
2016 007 was 20-0 (1.000) This one might be hard to beat.
2013 Matt52 was 18-2 (.900)

So, good company, but not unprecedented. 18-2 would tie mars with a couple of those.

Worth noting that of that list, though, only the completely undefeated 2016 007 team actually won the chip (and by a 5-4 score in the final!). Everyone else couldn't convert. Mack North won both the 2018 and 2020 playoffs, displacing THREE of those teams with crazy records in the process.

Real life. I just cut him. I need someone who can give me roughly 100-120th overall stats next week, not next January. Also, Bane is coming back in a few games and so I'll enter the playoffs for the first time ever without two or three critical injuries... My bench is now made up of dudes who may not be in the league next year but at least they're getting minute right now and they're available. Let's go!

Regular season top dog seems to be the kiss of death in general in fantasy sports. We see it almost every year in football also. Tucas steamrolled the football league this year, only to get knocked out in round one by the last seed (Drizz), who then won the championship! Its the best and the worst thing you like to see all at once somehow.

He has made 33 straight field goals over his last 5 games. Has not missed a shot. In 5 games.
And had 7 blocks to boot last night, and has retaken the starting spot (for now).

The Lively rookie just turned 20 a month ago... old man Gafford is counting his days.

Maybe we have the next Duncan/Robinson duo on our hands, but not Duncan Robinson's.

I took over Cody's team. Nobody from that team is on my roster. Although my first big trade if I remember correctly was Sabonis for Harris. Not sure I would do that again though
