Current practice is both. Post the numbers here, for record keeping, and update the sheet.

Keeping both records will help in case anything ever goes wonky either with this site or with the google sheet, was the thinking previously expressed.

As Dan mentioned, it's best to post new contracts here or in the Cap thread. You still have 2.5 weeks before the Sept 1 deadline, so no real rush to get them in. Gruesome injuries can happen at any time, which is part of the reason why we wait so long for the rookie(after summer league) and auction drafts(after preseason).

I updated google sheet after the draft with my signings, but not the cap thread yet as I wasn't sure if I should still use that or not.

Also, I have two re-signings to make: Terry Rozier and Isaiah Stewart. Now that I can see the Yahoo position designations, I realize I have plenty of guards and centers, so both of these guys are available for a sign-and-trade. I'm not looking to pull off a blockbuster before the auction, but if you want to talk trades, feel free to send me a PM.

Ya, I was going to touch on that.

I've added a Tab in the Excel for Announcements.

Format will be:
Date - Team - Player - Years

If people want to post in here, that's fine, but I think just add it to the Announcemnts tab before making ANY change to your Roster/Cap.
I will save historical copies every 2 weeks or something if ever there is a question.

Also, once people decide who you are re-signing, can you also please update the "Expiring Contracts" tab, so people can see who all will be going into the FA pool.
