I'm thinking Houston would also still want draft pick(s).
Here's why we do it: Half-court offense would take a leap while the defense remain somewhat in tact with PJ coming back. We realize that you need a top 5 guy to win in it all (Kawhi taught us that).
Concerns: Siakim's ceiling? Really heavy on talent at the 1/2 position.And of course... do we want to cheer for a Harden?
I'm curious how many of you would do this trade (not wanting to, but because it may raises our ceiling/chances at a championship).
And I don't know the CBA well enough, but does this keep open the chance to sign Kawhi (if he opts out)? And if so, would he be more enticed to come to play with Harden over our current lineup?
