We should take a look at him, if he is the BPA, but we would need to make quite a few trades to make it work.
And for the record, I think that if we get a good offer for Bargs, we take it and run.

There seems to be this idea among Raptors fans that Bargnani is untouchable. Yes, he's played great this year and perhaps moving him now that he is producing is to some people unthinkable, but Robinson to me anyways is looking like a young Amare Stoudamire. Explosive, strong, athletic and great motor. If he can evenutally add a 15ft to 20ft jumper to his arsenal he'd be a great player. The NCAA player of the year award (not sure exactly what it's called) is between Anthony Davis and Robinson, yet Raptor fans are showing him no love. He's the prototypical PF we've been trying to get for years now. Yet, eveyones only got an eye for a SF in the draft.
Bargnani straight up for Rondo. Then pair up Rondo with Robinson and you could have a really nice combination along the lines of Nast & Stat or CP3 and Griffin.
You'd have to get shooting from somewhere...perhaps adding Calderon in the deal for Rondo to acquire one of Boston's first round picks and then getting a Q. Miller, Terrence Ross, Terrence Jones....man the problem I always run into when I'm trying to look at the Raptors starting line up next year is DeMar. We need a SG that can you know...shoot.

Mediumcore wrote: View PostGood point about the shooting. Bargnani would be getting doubled every posession knowing that there aren't any other shooters. Balance is something that would be lacking on offense.

PHP Code:[QUOTE=Mediumcore;116218]Rondo is a good player, but I wonder how he would be in a situation where the role of leader falls squarely on his shoulders. He's use to playing with great players and I can see him being a real sulk playing for the Raptors. He needs veterans around him.
Maybe the oposite is the problem. Ever since he came to NBA as a rookie, everyone allways talked about Boston's Big 3 (obviously he was not in). That may have worked while he was a rook, but still? He feels he is the man (or at least 2nd to Pierce). I don't think he would have that problem in To where he would either be the man or at least at par with Bargs.

Ya you are right I'm wrong in my personal opinion in thinking that I'm not a fan of tweener's who play mediocre defense, and looks for his own shot first... I get his game, he brings a lot to the table, he brings it, I don't have to be a fan

Getting rondo would definitely be a plus, but if they want too much for him then not worth it.

Boston is asking alot for him, more than this. Maybe Calderon + this years pick.

Rondo is a great one, it's the team around him is way past its prime.
Doc says he's staying.
