must be awesome to live in a country whose leader makes every citizens life better, instead of two small spots of the country at the expense of the rest.

Trump appears to be making "everyone's lives" better at the expense of their children --- on multiple fronts.

Still better than Clinton but let's be real here... That's an excuse usually reserved for Trudeau defenders only it's "still better than Scheer". The debt is a major problem for them long term. Trump has already built in his scapegoat for it, he'll blame it on The Fed for not continually lowering interest rates at his whim.

        • The optics on Granny Pelosi’s reaction on tearing up the speech handout looks similar to daycare in the toddler room when a favourite toy is put on the high shelf.

          Petulance...Pelosi is thy name.

trudeau bravely fighting racism instead of telling us how to protect ourselves
            trudeau investigating media
freeland fighting climate change by flying everywhere and having her personal limo flown and driven everywhere
trudeau planning on further disarming us

i think the worst part about him is no matter if we fix his never ending making canada worse, we still owe him millions until he dies.
            Yawn.

I think its a signal of defeat. There was a lot of symbolism in here conduct at the speech as well. Another misstep. She's a poor leader based on what we've seen unfold.

The Dems look to be in disarray as the election starts. If the electorate brings back Trump and the odds are in his favour right now the DNC will have to finally cleanse themselves of any remenants of the Clinton clique of which Pelosi is a part of. It leaves the field open to the more strident wing of the Dems to chart the next chapter. Can they win in 2024 with the likes of AOC and Omar as the Dems version of the Tea Party. Its unlikely. The road ahead looks uneven. But hey its politics and in a span of 24 hours anything can happen.

Tea Party: stop taxing us, and taking our freedoms
Progressives: give us all your money, and freedoms

I view AOC and O as fringe. They get lots of pub because of some of the outrageously "unAmerican" things they say. Its as polarizing as the guy who points out all the "shithole countries" but much less popular.

Anyway, I don't think they're going to lose many Dem votes. What they'll lose are those more aligned to the center and undecided or wavering.

The Corbynization of the Democratic party is proceeding apace.... whether 2020 will be the beginning of the end of the process or just the end of the beginning remains to be seen.

                        • DNC trying to blatantly and very publicly steal a victory from Sanders in Iowa. Not even trying to hide it like they did in 2016. Sanders' insistence on the release of the vote totals is the only thing bringing it all to light but they still won't stop even when they've been caught.

Hope Trump and his campaign are ready for total war this year cause they are not only going to have to win but they are going to win by enough that even this kind of stuff won't matter. Better have lawyers in every county ready in every swing state - going to need them.

"Expanding the Trans Mountain pipeline will now cost at least $12.6 billion — up from a three-year-old estimate of $7.4 billion on a project Finance Minister Bill Morneau insisted the Liberal government intends to sell back to the private sector and recoup taxpayers' investment."

you guys aren't going to believe this, but the costs just went up. don't worry though, we have been assured that budgets balance themselves. so if all the people that voted these retards in could go max out their credit cards and give all the money away to other people, and then pay back the debt your budgets should just balance themselves out.
