Hey guys and gals,

We're running a, how should I say, pilot or beta version of our new Raptors Republic app. We haven't made it official as we're still trying to work out some bugs while improving the user interface. So, its not the final version so expect to see more changes over the next while.

Anyhow, please feel free to download. Available on both Android & iPhone. It's absolutely free.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rsrepublic.app

iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-...6946?ls=1&mt=8

If we could ask a favour though. We're welcoming feedback and suggestions on perhaps things you'd like to see. At the end of the day we're doing this for you guys by making everything here easier available for you the user. Please send your feedback (Regardless if its positive or negative) to raptorsrepublic@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance and we hope you guys enjoy the application.

I agree... AOC does exhibit many of the intellectual traits of a 3 month old...

Her own party is beginning to treat her like your crazed drunk uncle at a wedding. They are politely turning away from her. The kiss of death.

Trump loves her though .. because every speech or interview she gives pushes what ever remaining moderates there are in the Great Republic to the lesser of two evils that is the GOP. I guess a job is better than more taxes.

Looking forward to see AOC headline a Munk debate. I see her matching wits with Kendal Jenner and our very own Minister of the Weather Catherine McKenna on how a tax can change the weather.
Maybe, but I think she is resonating with progressives because she is talking about income inequality and some other issues around the economy that speak to people. If you ignore the climate change garbage-nonsense, it's of a piece with a lot of what Trump was saying in the last election. They are both right in their own way. The American economy has a serious income disparity problem and it has also become increasingly reliant in finance to prosper, rather than actual productive activity. While the 'elite' have prospered, the middle class and poor have fallen behind with increasingly fewer paths to catch up. That was the whole point of MAGA! The idiot-yet-intellectuals scoffed at that because they didn't, and still don't, understand what it means or who it is speaking to (pro tip: it isn't them). AOC is also speaking to that same zeitgeist from a different angle. Conservatives can mock her all they want (and she is easily mockable) but her underlying message is relevant and there will be better messengers.

The post-WWII institutions and understandings are being re-negotiated, and the smart-set can either get on-board or they will get run over like the British establishment.

They already do ..."OAS" (organization of american states) which the Americans pretty much controlled. I don't think Don is aware of it

btw... have you heard him on the Russian military unit now resident in Venezuela?

I'm actually thinking bigger. Central America(w/ Mexico) nations should form a political and economic union.

United States of Central America + Marshall-like Plan = Hope. It will never happen though. But one can dream. Political union w/ a huge support package from the West could be a start of something special.

This is brilliant. Darwinism at its finest. The people who believe this idiot lose their children to preventable diseases. They don’t pass on the gullible gene.

                  • So how bad of a look is it for the Libs expelling Phillpot and JWR from caucus? seems all the pillars of the last Liberial campaign have some crashing down the last few months (open-honest goverment, empowerment of women leaders, improving first nation relationships). Going to be hard to campaign again on those principals with all the ammunition they have just given the opposition. Plus no Butts the man who sculpted Trudeau political career.. Must be panic in the back rooms right now..

                      • Although the early signs vary, common early symptoms of dementia include:
                        • memory problems, particularly remembering recent events
                        • increasing confusion
                        • reduced concentration
                        • personality or behaviour changes
                        • apathy and withdrawal or depression
                        • loss of ability to do everyday tasks.

Long way to the election and Trudeau is blessed by the quality of the enemies he has. He might be able to hang on but they are going to have to staunch the bleeding at some point.....

All I want to know is where the money is. How much did SNC pay the Libs for a special deal, who got it and where is it? Someone knows.

                            • LOL, it's literally the same playbook with every Republican President since Reagan:

                              - Phase 1: He's a warmonger who will lead us into nuclear war and disaster!
                              - Phase 2: He's an evil genius who has done _____________
                              - Phase 3: Wait, No, he's actually an idiot who has mental problems. (sometimes reversed with phase 2 or even in conjunction therewith)
                              - President leaves office, new Republican nominee is announced...
                              - This new Republican nominee is worse than Hitler! I miss the good old Republicans like the last Republican president. Now he was a real conservative Republican and a gentleman.

                              Like fucking clockwork.

                              • AOC, the savior, in action:

Last week, Ocasio-Cortez celebrated the tanking of a deal negotiated by her fellow Democrats in which Amazon promised to build a new headquarters in Long Island City, New York, right next to her congressional district. Amazon’s departure cost the city between 25,000 and 40,000 new jobs.
Ocasio-Cortez was not disturbed at all. “We were subsidizing those jobs,” she said. “Frankly, if we were willing to give away $3 billion for this deal, we could invest those $3 billion in our district, ourselves, if we wanted to. We could hire out more teachers. We can fix our subways. We can put a lot of people to work for that amount of money if we wanted to.”

No, you can’t. Ocasio-Cortez does not seem to realize that New York does not have $3 billion in cash sitting around waiting to be spent on her socialist dreams. The subsidies to Amazon were tax incentives, not cash payouts. It is Amazon’s money, which New York agreed to make tax-exempt, so the company would invest it in building its new headquarters, hiring new workers and generating tens of billions in new tax revenue.
As New York Mayor Bill de Blasio explained, the Amazon deal would have produced “$27 billion in new tax revenue to fuel priorities from transit to affordable housing — a nine-fold return on the taxes the city and state were prepared to forgo to win the headquarters.”
Ocasio-Cortez does not seem to understand that by helping to drive Amazon away, she did not save New York $3 billion; she cost New York $27 billion. There is a difference between having bad ideas and not grasping basic facts.
