Raptors Republic Android & iOS App

Hey guys and gals,

We're running a, how should I say, pilot or beta version of our new Raptors Republic app. We haven't made it official as we're still trying to work out some bugs while improving the user interface. So, its not the final version so expect to see more changes over the next while.

Anyhow, please feel free to download. Available on both Android & iPhone. It's absolutely free.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rsrepublic.app

iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-...6946?ls=1&mt=8

If we could ask a favour though. We're welcoming feedback and suggestions on perhaps things you'd like to see. At the end of the day we're doing this for you guys by making everything here easier available for you the user. Please send your feedback (Regardless if its positive or negative) to raptorsrepublic@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance and we hope you guys enjoy the application.

I would argue most are not. Attacking the person instead of the idea is weak and pointless. It shows either weakness in the person trying to express an idea/stance and/or a weak idea/stance. People from both sides of the coin are guilty of this sort of thing.
Wait until the federal election here in Canada. Alberta was a warm-up act. It's been the most vicious campaign I remember here. And it is going to look like a walk in the park next to what happens in the fall.

Seven years cooped up in that building. It must have felt like a relief for a few seconds before getting into the squad car to face God knows what... This might have triggered the event:

I think they're likely to make an example out of him to make others think twice.
We can only defer to the honorable Top Men full of virtue and wisdom in US federal law enforcement who always do the right thing and are above reproach only hoping to find truth and justice. They would never, ever do anything untoward and are above criticism. These are the new rules as I understand them from the Democrats and the left.

Well considering how JT was marketed as some sort of morally superior demigod last election I'm sure all the recent revelations will make things very interesting.

Is what he said factual or not? Are facts/truths overruled by intent or affiliations? Please elaborate.

No idea, not following the story. It's just funny that he's quoting those accounts. I guess he really wants that permanent asylum

                      • Democrats have their own silent majority. Black Americans, Asians and uneducated white liberals are mostly moderate libs. You don't hear those moderates on Twitter, but they're active. Just look at Fairfax(accused of rape in Virginia) polling results. And Biden... after bunch of shitty policies and creepy uncle behavior, no effect.

I don't know about these polls, though. Biden is 76. Means he'd be 81 in his first term. That's too old. And once he gets out there and starts with the gaffes it won't be like in the old days. He's run for President about 400 times and has never won anything. Dems associate him with Obama and he's got name recognition but once he gets out there in the race he's going to get hammered. He's yesterday's man.

                                Flag on the play.

Each legislative tier of the great republic has a check and balance which was thought about by the guys who wrote it...

The Senate gets two reps per state regardless of the states size and it server as a balance against congress which is rep by pop. You acknowledge that you give voice on a proportional basis to where the most people live by giving Congress more legislative powers but they put up a secondary gate in the Senate so one populous state doesn't get its way with everything. Even then the union wasn't so sure about New York ..

The Electoral college is modeled in the same way.... Its scaled to the population but it still gives a voice to the smaller rural states on the presidency. The electoral collge trys to avoid the situation that every favourite son of Virginia didn't win the presidency by winning the popular vote in two states and to hell with the other 11. The fear of tyranny in a central government was a factor then ....

I own hyperbole ... and that one about the slave states having to have B class voting shares because they were slave states likely didn't hold much water 250 years ago in the thinking of the day. Its tough to transpose this eras thinking backwards a couple centrurys in time. The big time land holders in upstate new york sided with their podunk cousins in Carolina and Georgia on that.

THE DNC is going to have hustle and hustle hard to beat the GOP. Its not that the GOP is a well oiled machine or anything... its that the DNC is still wandering in the desert trying to figure out who they are and how they are going to be relevant in the South and the Midwest and the Southwest. If they don't ..

Trumps more a Democrat than a Republican. His insular foreign policy .. His protectionist economy with tarrifs. He just didn't think he could win with the democrats. So he won with the other guys. DNC better find its game or its going to have hit the reset button till 2024.
The flag was picked up and placed back in pocket. The play was reviewed by the guy upstairs and "no foul". The ref in question not entirely in possession of the facts.

Sigh. I can deal with hyperbole. It's the facts .. always.

The point being discussed is the electoral college. As I indicated before I am not one here who is asking for it's elimination simply because in this climate it would be an impossibility. But I am on principle a one person/one vote typer. Just because it's the right & logical way to go. Every single vote must count with similar weight. You wanna give certain regions/states advantages ...the senate does that. The basis for the electoral college no longer exists.

No one including yourself answered the factual points in my previous writing. Is there another modern democracy which elects a head of state in other than a one person/one vote method?

You cite "thinking of the day" 250 years ago as a reason not to modernize the rules? Oh I forgot... you are possibly a conservative and conservatives are moribund by the original code (just as Websters shows ). Yet, the US constitution is replete with amendments. I wonder why? The legislators decided at certain points "this is an assinine way of deciding things" on a whole range of issues.

That you cavalierly sweep the fact that ..that electoral law steeped in a time when blacks were 3/5ths a person and in this case not also allowed to vote at all ...is not worthy of consideration for change? Um. How do the facts/reality of the day relate to the 21st century? No?

If you care to, the link below holds an essay on the subject by a noted academic on constitutional law. It goes much more in detail on the issue.

Did you know that Jefferson noted in his personal papers that the constitution be reviewed with a view to revision every generation? How odd?

But at least you did not expand on the previous hockey analogy. So, marks to you.
