McMahon takes his place as President.
Apparently Hulk Hogan is considering a Senate run. Maybe Hulkmania will run wild on Trump in 2020? I mean when it comes crashing down and it hurts inside you gotta take a stand it don't help to hide.

    • Picture it: Oprah, Rosanne, the Rock, Kid Rock and Hulkmania on stage debating for Democratic leadership. Sounds like a SNL skit but in this weird world it can happen.

Pretty sure Rosanne and Kid Rock are both Republicans. But ya, don't forget Mark Cuban in the next season of Celebrity Appresident.

Sgt. Slaughter is waiting for Trump to move out of the way.

              • Trump is giving a citizenship to DACA recipients. Dems should give him $$. Let's face it... USA needs a wall for many reasons... One of those reasons - avoid another DACA situation in 2050.

Honestly, he should be selling it as Mexico needing the wall to keep the flow of guns from the US going to the cartels in Mexico. Then they might pay for it ... Lol

But ya, we'll see if Dems take the deal. There's a few other immigration related concessions he's looking for as well.

Dems won't like this but it's a pretty good deal tbh. Maybe not good, but solid. Not sure if you can get a better one.

                    • I think there's another play here. Dems can't give any money for the wall. Cough cough elections are coming...

                      • After a couple of years of equivocating on his "promises" and "commitments" please people!! This guy changes his mind faster than his underwear. If someone puts him in a bad mood ...poof go what he just announced.

Like tonight's revelation in NYT that he was going to fire Mueller and then backed off when his WH lawyer threatened to resign! So, here is a guy who says he is not guilty of anything but fired his FBI director, threatened to fire his own AG and now that he was going to fire the SC Mueller. There is something wrong with this guy. Please don't rationalize his motives. The GOp are doing a great job by themselves....and yes the evangelicals giving him
                        a mulligan re Stormy...lol.

ps..check out his motives for why he wanted to fire Mueller.

The one-pager summary issued today, while just a memorandum by the WH, and by no means law, but it's sure to set off a lot of heated discussion on both sides of the political aisle.

It infuriates his alt-right base, those people who think that there should be no path to citizenship by DREAMers whatsoever (it should be noted that the vast majority of Americans, including Republicans support a path to legal status for DREAMers). So they're going to be upset, and Breitbart has already had negative headlines for 'Amnesty Don'. They won't stay upset for too long however, after all, they seem to have gotten over the fact that Mexico was going to pay for the Wall, and now they will have to pay.

It infuriates the far left wing of the Democrats, who will decry some of the cruel aspects (limiting family sponsorships to spouse and minor children - so if you are immigrating from say.. Norway, and have an 18-year old son - you can move to the US, but that son has to remain in Norway). I'm sure pundits will bring up Trump's proposed RAISE Act, which was an attempt at limiting legal immigration by putting ridiculous standards in place to be able to obtain a visa, and those standards can be used to discriminate based on nationality/religion/sexuality etc. - all a matter of how you create those standards.

Of course, with everything Trump, the memo is full of vagaries - 'Status is subject to revocation for criminal conduct, or public safety, and national security concerns..' Based on the Trump administration's predilection to anti-immigrant bias ..

                            - Would an ISIS-style attack in the UK mean that all Muslims in the US would be subject to revocation of their status?

                            - Would a declaration of a fatwa against the US by a terrorist organization based in a particular country mean that all immigrants from that country are rounded up as a potential threat?

                            - Would a parking ticket mean you and your family faced deportation?

Why 10-12 year path to citizenship? A large percentage of DREAMers have been in the US already for significantly longer than that period of time, why the wait? I'm guessing political appearances plays a role.

What does 'northern border improvements and enhancements' mean? I know that there's likely going to be a bunch of people crossing into Canada after the marijuana legalization eventually occurs, but there's enough states in the US now with legal weed, that it's not going to be a flood.

Ending the 'catch-and-release' program means that suspected border crossers will be held in a detention facility until their case can be heard - that can take years, and there have been a number of cases where Border Patrol has arrested hispanic US citizens, who, after being released by that program, have had to fight in the courts to have their records cleared - if they were incarcerated until their hearing? Is that some of the loopholes that Trump is proposing eliminating?

The inclusion of the fentanyl bullet point seems out of place in this memorandum, perhaps was included to give another talking point to the liars spokespeople for the administration to muddy the discussion with allegations that illegal immigrants are responsible for the fentanyl crisis in the US (and Canada)?

Funny that so many people are talking about one page memo w/o reading the bill first... Most immigration law changes are already explained in that anti-immigrant 300+ page bill(Not raise act, I wrote about it few pages back, can't remember the name) Dems will never agree to any deal based on that bill cuz of criminalization tactics, so I think Trump's one-page memo sends a clear signal that he's ready to work with Dems to get $25B for the wall. Again, there's a much bigger play here now... I wouldn't be surprised if Trump showed support for DREAM act in exchange for $25B. #panicmove

                              • I feel bad for DACA kids, but dems ain't stupid. I think they're going to stall negotiations until another gov. shutdown and try to force a DACA extension. It's a bad chess move to give Trump money right now.
