We're running a, how should I say, pilot or beta version of our new Raptors Republic app. We haven't made it official as we're still trying to work out some bugs while improving the user interface. So, its not the final version so expect to see more changes over the next while.

Anyhow, please feel free to download. Available on both Android & iPhone. It's absolutely free.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rsrepublic.app

iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-...6946?ls=1&mt=8

If we could ask a favour though. We're welcoming feedback and suggestions on perhaps things you'd like to see. At the end of the day we're doing this for you guys by making everything here easier available for you the user. Please send your feedback (Regardless if its positive or negative) to raptorsrepublic@gmail.com.

Thanks in advance and we hope you guys enjoy the application.

    Politics - The Legend Continues...

I'm a conservative. Not a Canadian conservative, a real free market, capitalist conservative. I follow American politics more than I do Canadian because I find Canadian politicians to be an absolute joke.

If you can get outside of how you're told to think about a candidate and truly listen to them I think there is much to be heard and learned. I strongly disagree with Bernie Sanders, he's a devout socialist. But he speaks his mind and speaks to people. I dig that, everyone knows where he stands on issues. There's no hiding behind facades in order to get elected. He says what he thinks and lots of people agree with him. That opens up for healthy debate which I think is lacking in politics these days. It's become more about grand standing and buying votes than discussing ideas and the ideologies that drive them.

That statement applies to all of the relevant politicians making the news these days, except for one. Donald Trump. That man is a rambling, ego maniac with no real message. He just says things in no logical order, he knows what people want to hear and just rambles on about it with no actual policy. However, what he is successful at is raising awareness and debate, I'll give him that. He's really opened up the discussion regarding ILLEGAL immigration in the U.S.

So to start this thread, here are my thoughts on ILLEGAL immigration.

When listening to conservatives talk about illegal immigration please try to keep in mind what they're talking about. It's people that crossed the border illegally and are taking jobs from those that are here legally. Not to mention it completely crushes those that are going through the immigration process LEGALLY. I often hear pundits say that conservatives are against immigration, which is ridiculous. No one I've seen has said they are against immigration, they are against illegal immigration. In a civilized society that provides many social benefits (whether you think they are sufficient or not is another story) there must be a legal process for admitting immigrants, especially if they will be requiring social assistance or taking jobs.

Many people on the left trumpet Norway and Sweden as the staples of socialism and the model for societies around the world. Have a look at their immigration policies and see if you would meet their requirements, I can guarantee you wouldn't. No one does, they have some of the most strict immigration policies in the world.

So to say it is racist to want to deport people that have come into the country ILLEGALLY is simply unfounded. Norway and Sweden would do it in a heart beat, and so should every country in the world. I'm not talking about refugees of war torn countries, or those in serious harms way due to highly unstable and dangerous circumstances. thats a different situation and developing countries should be accepting as many of those types of migrants as their system allows. I think most developed and civilized countries already do with varying degrees of success.

Anyway, I've rambled on enough. Please try to keep the discussion civilized.

My next post will be about Justin Trudeau so fasten your belts!

    Pretty big generalization there.
Talking about the party as an entity, not people.

Also, taking care of the planet does not belong to any particular ideology. It belongs to those who take personal responsibility and who are honest to their self. Problems can arise when it comes to the debate about the significance of certain things we may be doing to the environment.

Theres a lot of hypocrisy across the ideological spectrum. Hate to tell you Joey but liberals don't own environmentalism.
I never said they did, you're absolutely right that Liberals don't own environmentalism. Pretty much every party except the Conservatives take it seriously.

But I know as soon as conservatives hear something might be potentially good for the environment, they immediately attack it. I get it.

Also, condoms aren't plastic. Not sure why that needs to be said, but I guess it does.
To manufacture that costs resources and pollution. Also is all the paper recycled paper?

I'm not the second coming of Jesus but I use a reusable bottle and fill it from a simple gravity fed system at home that I've owned for eight years. I'm also not a trained actor or a professional speaker but I could explain what I'm doing clearly to the press without tripping over my words like that. Justin appears to have been caught in a classic freudian slip.

Its not doctored....for transparency there is another 15 or so seconds where he finishes up .. coherently .. but it still looks like he is sniffing glue as he does it.

I voted for legal weed for a number of reasons. I though I could just humm and plug my ears and live with the rest of the shit. It turns out I can't.

Skippy McFuckNuts is as vapid a pol as they come. He is a hologram.. an empty suit.....bereft of any semblance of leadership or statesmanship.
You will notice his cabinet is completely silent going into the last week before parliament stands and calls an end to the session before the election. They are hiding. They are sorely afraid.
Hear that sucking sound ? Thats the LPC circling the drain.
It takes time.. .but you can get it right. Pun intended.
