Atlanta comes to the North riding high off a 24 point beat down of the Miami Heat. Right in the thick of the tankathon race of the east, a visit from the Hawks lacks the robust storylines we've seen in recent days. Last time these teams met, Toronto walked away with an 18 point victory as Vince Carter threw down a buzzer-beating dunk for his 25,000 career point in the NBA. The return of Vince will likely take the head billing in this one.
The Raptors are rolling right now pulling off back to back gritty victories against potential playoff match-ups over the weekend. A Tuesday night showdown against the 12th place team in the East may not be as exciting as the past 2, but the Raptors need to come out with the same energy to avoid the dreaded trap game. The potential return of both KL's should be enough for any fan to look forward to this one. The biggest threat to a Raptors victory is not taking the Hawks seriously. If they play with the same hunger as of late we should be seeing Boucher and Co. in the 4th quarter.
