  • Watched Justice League again ... love that movie. Even better the second time around. Really hope we see Affleck back as Batman/Bruce Wayne. He's so good.

Oh, and saw I, Tanya. Fantastic movie. Really funny, but has some heart as well; and kinda neat because many of the scenes in it you can go and watch the real life depiction on YouTube.

Haven’t seen justice league... I liked Wonder Woman a lot but generally really don’t like superhero movies especially ones like the Avengers. Is it worth the watch even if you aren’t a super hero fan in general? (Big fan of Nolan’s Batman though)

Hmmm Hard to say .. It's definitely different than Avengers. But also way different than Nolans style Batman. If you're not into Comics, or used to be as a kid at least like me, then ya, tough to say. I think it's just a fun ride to go on, and super entertaining - like WW - so if you liked WW, there's room for you to like it. The scenes with the Amazonians are some of the best in the movie. I'll just say the "Chase Scene". If you see it, you'll know.

But for me, it's just so awesome to see these characters portrayed in a way that I always sort of imagined them; the castings of all of them is just so spot on, the development of them is as good as could be expected for how much there is, and the chemistry between them is great as well, which counts for a lot in my books. All about the Characters for me on this one.

Agreed. That’s what it’s all about in these super hero movies. The characters in Wonder Woman were so strong and well developed. Compared to the Avengers it just feels like whatever happens to the characters they’re gonna end up fine and they aren’t developed very well. No stakes means no tension and that makes those movies mindless and boring to me. That being said I’ll give Justice League a watch soon.

On the one hand, I'm glad that they've entrusted great people for this next chapter.

But on the other hand, (like the tweet in the article eluded to) there are now 8 Star Wars movies in the pipeline. I sort of liked it better when I had to wait 3 years (or longer) in between films. It gave me a chance to absorb each one independently.

Ha! I'm sure those are already out, you just won't get the good storyline. The "action" scenes must be awesome though!

Agreed. I've never been a huge Star Wars fan, but I'll watch them for the entertainment. That said, having the movies come out every 2-3 years(any series ie Batman) is much better for the brand imo. Having one every year will dilute the quality of the movies and people will move on to the next big thing.

That's what people said about Super Hero movies ... LOL But in general, I agree as well.

Before they announced this, I was hoping Tom Hardy would be recruited as the next Wolverine after Jackman. I think he'd do a great Wolverine.

Edit Add: Although, if Josh Brolin can play both Thanos and Cable in two Marvel pieces, why can't Hardy play Wolverine and Venom ... one can dream.

But he is also the only reason I have any faith in this particular movie being any good. Fingers Crossed they figure out a crossover with Hollands Spider-Man at some point .. can't have Venom without Spidey!

finally saw justice league. it was great. don't see what people's problems were. the scene where flash realizes that superman can see him was one of the most epic things in any super hero movie. fantastic stuff.

loved the gods among us aquaman entry

loved that we saw angry soon to be oppressive superman

loved that gotham looked like burton's batman

i think snyder really understands the power of dc's superheroes. they made superman appropriately super.

loved the speed force always around flash, while it isn't around superman.

my one complaint is that they can't do super speed right. the distances and speeds that flash and superman can travel means everyone of those civilians can all be saved in less than one second, but that is nitpicking. can't just have flash instantly get somewhere and vibrate a brick into someones brain or rip out their hearts.

loved that even though flash isn't super strong he was able to quickly move the stalled truck 100 yards or whatever the distance was because speed is force and he can generate near infinite speeds in very small distances.

really liked the movie. super stoked for when luther gets out and kills lois.

                            • I’m watching justice league tonight and will be back with my review.

Also, I cant help but get excited for the new Star Wars movie even though my gut says it’s gonna be awful because Ron Howard but I just love Star Wars so much. And I also really like Alden Ehrenreich so I hope he does a good job.

Still just waiting for Isle of dogs. If it’s even close to as good as Fantastic Mr Fox then it will be incredible.
