  • Chris Bosh back to TO?

I know this is extremely unlikely, however, he seems like a guy who can fit into our small ball, fast paced lineup. Masai has stated that he doesn't like large contracts but doesn't this seem like the golden oppurtunity to win with lowry and derozan reaching their prime in a struggling eastern conference?

    Toronto trades
    Amir Johnson to (DETROIT)
    GVasquez to (Detroit)
    Chuck Hayes (Miami)
2016 New York First Round Pick to Miami

    Miami trades
    Chris Bosh to (TORONTO)

    Detroit trades
    Caron Butler to (Miami)
    Greg Monroe to (miami)

    Toronto Starting 5 becomes
    Kyle Lowry
    DeMar DeRozan
    Terrence Ross
    Chris Bosh
    Jonas Valanciunas

Miami does this because they realize they paid max contract to bosh who is unable to carry the team to 500+ so they restart with a cheaper franchise player in Monroe who is also younger and they get new york's 2016 pick which is likely lottery bound. Detroit does this trade because monroe will probably bolt in the summer so they at least get something and theyve been searching for a pg and vasquez fits what they need as well as amir johnson reuniting with the pistons.

Houston would offer a better deal if Boish is available and the Amir to Detroit doesn't help Miami long term.

And if there was a chance, JJ could start because he is a solid stretch 4.. With how Miami is now I bet he wouldn't rule it out... New front office.

Bosh would be great. But he's paid like 55M$ the season by 2 or 3 years from now

Chris has come out and said he wants to get back into the NBA. He's been hitting the gym. He's been out for two years. Read the details on the front page about buyout candidates.

Insurance would be the big deal. I am speculating, but if the Raptors picked up the insurance cost, it is a business expense and doesn't have an impact on salary or luxury tax. He may be interested in coming back and demonstrating some ability to play this season to set himself up for a payday next season. He talked about having regrets over his time in TO that he didn't bring more playoff appearances to the city.

If he's available, I'm all in. Hell, waive Richardson and sign Vince as well. Whatever moves the needle for getting the Raps closer to a title. Either of these guys does that.
