I know this is extremely unlikely, however, he seems like a guy who can fit into our small ball, fast paced lineup. Masai has stated that he doesn't like large contracts but doesn't this seem like the golden oppurtunity to win with lowry and derozan reaching their prime in a struggling eastern conference?
Toronto trades
Amir Johnson to (DETROIT)
GVasquez to (Detroit)
Chuck Hayes (Miami)
2016 New York First Round Pick to Miami

Detroit trades
Caron Butler to (Miami)
Greg Monroe to (miami)
Toronto Starting 5 becomes
Kyle Lowry
DeMar DeRozan
Terrence Ross
Chris Bosh
Jonas Valanciunas
Miami does this because they realize they paid max contract to bosh who is unable to carry the team to 500+ so they restart with a cheaper franchise player in Monroe who is also younger and they get new york's 2016 pick which is likely lottery bound. Detroit does this trade because monroe will probably bolt in the summer so they at least get something and theyve been searching for a pg and vasquez fits what they need as well as amir johnson reuniting with the pistons.
