I believe they can only use the room mid-level exception (since they are below the cap).. and the value for that is $2.8M according to the CBA FAQ.. If they structured his deal to give him 2.8 this year and 3.2 next year then that would work out really well.

Don't forget we trade Greivis. Really making sense as to what Masai thinks of Casey. He's giving him a ton of defensive minded players for next season
