It really makes me wonder though, if OG can continue to show that his head is right again and he’s ready to really contribute, how can we get him more minutes with Kawhi and Siakam. The idea of our death lineup with Kyle, Kawhi, OG, Pascal and Serge (or even Marc now) is something that was so real during the lead up to the season and through our first incredible opening run. This gives me some renewed hope that maybe they can find it and make it work.

That lineup is one consistent 3P-shot from OG to be a killer, destructive lineup. There's a massive amount of length there, incredible combination of rim protection and switchabiltiy on defence. That lineup is big as fuck but also very, very quick (which is rare). it'd be a nightmare for other teams.

[It would only work if OG can shoot +36% from deep though, with us already being a meh 3pt shooting team we can't afford to sit Green for too long]

OG is starting to play a little better lately.
Thats all I notice, and Toronto could benefit immensely if the trend continues as he gets more comfortable.

Over the last few games, he's made opposing players look like children several times. There's no more promising sign for a pro athlete than when he can make a fellow pro look like a child.

I wonder do GSW even use that death lineup much anymore? Iggy isnt what he used to be, and now with cousins on board that small ball lineup might not get much look. In any event, we certainly have defenders to throw at the champs.

I played around with some lineup stats following last game. I like Siakam anc OG together obviously.

This year the 4 man combo of Lowry, Kawhi, OG, and Siakam has played a mere 15 minutes together. Gotta think we might see more of that.
4 minutes of that was with JV as the 5th guy..4 minutes was with Delon as the 5th guy. Ibaka and Green were the other two.

Somehow I'm not worried about OG. He has shown his maturity and skill level early.

Look at Siakam: Started as a rookie and then got relegated to the bench in his 2nd year. Then started playing at a high level in his 3 year.

I can see OG having that same career path.

That's one heck of a stretched floor. Siakam & Green at the corners, Green & OG above the key, Lowry & Gasol moving everything to contort the defence, opening paint & midrange for Kawhi & Ibaka.
