    Is 17pts/11rebounds/8.7assists/4steals/16blocks asking too much?

Cause just tell me if it is.

For real though, his shot was DEADLY that first game. Hope we see more of that 'Can't Miss CJ' soon.

He's only had one good game outta 3...small sample size I know...but still disconcerting. Needs to be more consistent.
His role is to come off the bench, hit some 3s, play passable defense, and be a veteran/calming presence on the floor with the kids.

    No complaints so far.

CJ flew back to TO yesterday after the game for the birth of his child. Congrats to CJ. But this also means we may be without him tomorrow in Indy (and his revenge game :-P)

His thread is only two pages long? Anyways, got a chance to watch the ESPN feed of the game. Best line from PJ Carlesimo was "I don't know who's calling the time out here...Scott Brooks or CJ Miles? 'Cause every time CJ hits a three there's a time out." Let's just take a minute to appreciate our 3 point specialist who actually hit clutch 3 pointers in a playoff game.

They weren't of the smooth variety that we were accustomed to, but he made them and that's all that counts. Just needs to keep having confidence in his shot. If he ever has one of those 6/8 nights from 3, it'll be a blow out win.

That desperation 3 once the Wiz cut the lead to 5, was the TSN Turning Point. If he missed that shot, Wiz likely scores on a quick fastbreak, and I'm not sure we pull out the win.

Great to have a 3pt shooter who can actually shoot specially when the game is on the line lol.

I don't miss the Patrick Pattersson, DeMarre Carroll and Terrence Ross days lol.

Really trying to root for this guy and he makes it more difficult every time he's out there. He's useless when the catch and shoot isn't going down.

In a perfect world, I'd love to roll the dice on Stauskas and bring him home. I don't think Portland would be silly enough to do it however Masai is a wizard.

Hey, you want CJ making those shots in April or in October? It's early and if he hits them in the playoffs again nobody will care what happened in October. He shot 42% from deep last spring.

Was definitely expecting better shooting out of the gate with his improved conditioning. But sometimes that's the way the shooter-cookie crumbles. He'll get there.

Man, what happened to CJ? It's like the Monstars stole his abilities.

Crazy that he got more athletic and came back this season physically ready to put in the work from the looks of things. Seems to have thrown his game off largely so far. ..... enough with all the fades though. Do yourself a favor and take an upright shot, CJ.

CJ Miles this year is shooting 28% from 3. DeRozan last year shot 31% from 3. Carroll, in his last year here shot 34% from 3.

CJ is gonna shoot like 50% for a month and you guys will all calm down. Shooters don't forget how to shoot. In the meantime, he's projected to likely not even see the floor in the playoffs so it's not the end of the world

I feel bad for him he's a good dude but right now he's has the third worst 3P% on the team (only ahead of Richardson and Lonzo Brown). The thing is that because the 3P shot is what he does best he's forcing that shot over hell and high water to try to get those percentages up and it's working against him. What he's gotta do instead and focus on defence so he remains playable while parking himself in the corner 3 zone, so the looks he gets are clean without a rushed release.
