      Wtf does 'minimally invasive' mean?
It means that you want to finish either 3rd or 7th in the East.

Small incision vs. ripping open the knee.

G2 MCL sprain. They're saying 6 week recovery time. That's first two rounds of the playoffs. GSW are definitely vulnerable.

              • A few random musings....

                1. Curry hasn't been right for a couple months with wonky ankles..... and now its his knee.... If Curry is hurt ..and we will find out in a couple days.... The Warriors will have gone from prohibitive favourite for world domination to an even bet to come out of their own conference....

                2. Kyrie Irving is having a "procedure". Whatever you wanna call it... its still surgery ....and when you have surgery ....your not ready to go in a couple weeks. The plucky warriors in Chowdertown have to be concerned. Really concerned. They'll talk in optimistic tones about Irving being ready to go for the real season... but ... predicting a timeframe on how an individual heals up is a crap shoot.

3.Kawhi Leonard is being painted in a poor light with his holdout. When your team gets together and has the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot meeting with your on whats in your head and why aren't you coming back to help....somethings off.... Whats really surprising is that Leonard is saying nothing. Don't know if he is as dumb as a post and he doesn't want to show it... or he simply wants out of San Antonio... but it is a strange set of events.

                4. 3 and 6. NewLooks and Wizards. In either combination of finish this is what I personally am cheering for in seeding. Its a win win. Wall and Beal finally get the non ducking them NewLooks and the NewLooks get a team that gives them a pantload of trouble. Either way as a Raps fan this would be great news...... if the NewLooks kick the Wiz's ass it shuts up Beal and Wall ... and if the Wiz take the NewLooks ....then the Raps closest competitor is setting up tee off times rather than corner 3's.

                5. Best stories of the year are the Pacers being a legit playoff team instead of a lottery team.... the Jazz coming back from the dead after losing Hayward to Free Agency with a terrible start and now they look like a good bet to make the playoffs and make a little noise.....the Pelicans after losing Boogie Cousins have put on a run that has propelled them to a fight for homecourt in the West.

6.Endings still to be written.... Is OKC going to get it together... the gap between expectations and actuals is still fairly wide. The Bucks were touted as a top 4 finisher in the east... Yes they have injuries but there is something missing in Milwaukee... The Clippers have remade themselves.. gone are Griffin and Paul and in are picks and younger players.... how does this end ?...The Timberpups were hyped almost as much as the Chowderheads and they started out really well but with an injury to Jimmy Butler are now life and death to make the playoffs for the first time in 20 years....Do they make it and do they win a round ?

                7. Sad stories with a sad ending...The demise of the Pistons and the Hornets.......the continued struggles of the Nuggets to make the playoffs....the endless agony of the Magic ...

8.Sad stories with a better ending... The Knicks. The league is healthiest when is marquee franchises are relevant.. after years of looking like they are run by Mrs. Inkpens 2nd grade class the Knicks are getting better. They have a player to build on and they have their draft picks. The Nets... who have amassed some talent with no draft picks. Its finally over. The Nets get their picks back in a year. The Lakers... who are better than last year and have cap space to get a couple of players who help them but may not be named Lebron and George. One might be named Leonard.
The Grizz... who are sucking canal water this year.. but... with Marc Gasol in the fold.. Mike Conley coming back.. the emergence of Dillon Brooks and maybe a top 5 pick will be back in the hunt next year.

9.Teams that need to put two behind the left ear of their front offices for a lifetime achievement of gross malfeasance... The Suns and the Kings. Who with multiple years worth of top 10 lottery picks and years where they have had two picks in the first round are still worse off than the Nets who have had no high picks at all.

                10. Teams on the treadmill that seem to be on there for a while.... Dallas and Atlanta.
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

                  • Sixers are just demolishing the Wolves. Wiggins as usual is nowhere to be seen. And Joel Embiid is completely dominating KAT. KAT plays like an idiot too. He's soft and non chalant like Wiggins. He's not in Embiid's level.

The Wolves were in 4th place before Butler got injured. Now they might not even the make the playoffs.

                    • Curry out 3-6 weeks, Kyrie out 3-6 weeks.

On Curry's end, GS could be in a little bit of hot water. If they get OKC in round 1 or the Spurs (and Kawhi comes back) that could be very difficult for them to win without Steph (although they still probably would).

East teams gotta be gunning for that 7 seed, Boston without Kyrie should be a very winnable series for a lower seed.

Russ vs KD in round 1 would be epic.

Hopefully they do. That franchise needs to see another playoff appearance.

Fun fact; this will be their first season EVER that they finish above .500 without KG on the roster

Stars are aligning for Rockets V Raptors in Finals. Wow, that would be something...

                              • Philly is really peaking lately. They look problematic and might pip the Cavs for the 3rd seed.

I know people keep saying not to worry about them, but the problem with that team is their ceiling on any given night is really fucking high.
