  • Being remembered as ring chaser is not as bad as being an elite player who never won.

Jordan and LeBron both won their first title at 27. We decided KD was never gonna win at 27?

After missing almost whole season with injury he realized how fickle this shit really is. One day you're MVP and next you're barely a backup on Cleveland.

          • In terms of the loyalty discussion I think we aren't talking about loyalty to teams and franchises - because who cares? The franchises clearly have no loyalty to them (see Thomas, Isaiah).

But it does matter from a fan perspective. It's not the fault of the fans of the OKC Thunder that their team was stolen from Seattle, and it's the fans who care most about Kevin Durant as part of their city's identity. So when we talk about Kevin Durant leaving, that's who he betrayed. Not the grubby owners who uprooted a team that shouldn't have been uprooted.
That is a normal collar. Move on, find a new slant.

Fans of a team are loyal to a player as long as he's good and can help to win championship.

                  • How/why is Leonard upset with the Spurs? He's barely played.

Ewing, Malone, Stockton, Miller, Barkley....i think more highly of those guys than Durant.

Durant's legacy is tarnished. He will forever be remembered as the guy who took the EASY WAY OUT to win a ring.

Close to the three quarter pole and getting ready for the stretch run in the East the NBA turns the lights in the gyms back on...

Tonight the new looks travel to DC .... Have to think the adrenaline rush of the new guys being in a new situation is wearing off and we get to see how that master tactician Ty Lue makes use of his new puzzle parts over the next 25 or so games. Have to think the extended layoff has taken more than a few players out of their rhythm...so going with the home team tonight....

                              Wiz over the NewLooks

The other game sees the Hinkies who could finish as high as four or clench up and finish out of the post season travel to Chicago to take on the rebuilding Bulls. The Bulls who should be looking to get the best pick position they can will do just that.....

TwitterKing and the Hinkies win one they are supposed to and the Bulls lose one they want to.

Lowry has been saddled for his playoffs with something Chris Paul has never had to deal with, the Raptors' nonsensical offensive system that thankfully has gone by the wayside this year. As well as various injuries.

Lowry, just like this team, should be judged on the coming playoffs, and anyone who thinks they know exactly how Lowry will look in this system come the playoffs is not paying attention.
Disagree with this. I think Lowry benefited the most from previous style of play. Lowry's playoffs production will come down to his jumper. If he is hitting 3s he will have a good game. If he is not he will have a subpar game. Just like right now.

Lowry is not fast or quick enough to get by guards consistently anymore. Doesn't have the same lift once he gets to the rim so he will get blocked a lot. The defence and intangibles will be there but offence will be up and down. Lowry is just not physically good enough to keep up with these young guards in the East. It gets harder when your not catching them on a back to back or 5 games in 7 days. Luckily he is one of smartest players in the league.
