I think both trades work out for both teams. For the Raptors, we acquire a backup C who would expire after this year and we can decide whether or not to bring him back or not. Wes Matthews is a better shooter than CJ Miles and can potentially start if DeRozan gets injured before the playoff. Dorian Finney Smith is a young prospect with some upsides, at least better than Bruno. For the Mavs, they acquire a starter caliber center in Jonas who can potentially do well with a change of scenery, perhaps become the new franchise player for the Mavs when Dirk retires. Beside, Jonas plays against Dirk on an international level as well, both knew each other well. Bruno Caboclo can perhaps find his groove. Yep I think it benefit both teams.

We would not get Noel's Bird Rights, so he's a pure rental.

JV for Matthews is intriguing, but losing a shooter in Miles to make it happen seems counterproductive.
