Team to watch for is Sacremento. They already said they're sitting out veterans, to allow the young players to get minutes. Next you see could see a veteran player bought out. VC back to the Raps could happen this season, folks......
Thanks but no thanks, I will pass on VC corpse in favor of giving Powell and Miles more minutes.

Is there any way to get Aaron Gordon with the league banning any trades between magic and raptors?

Sure but what do the Raps have to give for the Magic?

      • Can't see a way for the Raps to get around the rules re: Orlando. Even when teams come up with ways around stuff the league office has the ability to call it circumvention and rescind any trade.

        Also. Powell can't be traded.

Also, yes, if VC gets waived I wouldn't be shocked at him being added as depth shooting near the end of the season.

JV hits those shots though. He doesn't need to take a lot of them, as long as he hits them when he does.

As long as he make enough (& he does) to keep them honest.

Telling you. Gonna happen. But wouldn't join the Raps for a little while.

I agree. Said it in the VC thread. Pay attention to his 3pt % on 2-3 days rest (ie playoff games).

                • Man how crazy would it be if VC came back in the year we go to the finals for the first time.

Holy shit you're right. 56% from 3, +21 netRTG and a 69.6 TS% with 3+ days of rest. Although he's really bad with any less rest than that.

Could be a really nice get as our backup 2-guard in the playoffs. Would only play like 15mpg or so, but could thrive with the added playoff breaks.

                    • Out of all the years that i want him back, this year is the one that makes the most sense. If CJ Miles and Norm ever gets cold in the playoff, we bring VC off the bench.

                      • ....and wouldnt it be a cool story if he shoots the winning 3 to bring us to the ECF?! LOL that would make a good full circle documentary.

Or even better, if we get 1st seed, we face philly if they get 8th seed.

This is going to be fun if VC comes back lol

                          No. 10: Vince Carter

                          Career years: 1998-Present
Team(s): Toronto Raptors, New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies

There’s a reason everybody went wild for Vince Carter, especially in his early days with the Raptors. He was way more than a spectacular dunker; he was a late-game specialist, hitting a ton of game-winners for a young team on the rise. While his mid-career injuries and travels around the league tempered his reputation a bit, we saw in last year’s playoffs that Vinsanity is still more than capable of getting it done with the game on the line.
