Neither Sabonis nor Chriss were really picked by these teams, they were picked for Indy/Phoenix respectively.

Also comparing track records to the dumpster fires that are the Magic and Kings doesn't tell us much.

But Masai has done a solid job finding value where we've been picking.

Since the Bruno pick Masai is basically 6-6 last three drafts (including FVV). Powell's contract might turn into an issue but I still believe in him and if you look at just the player value, he's pretty good for a mid-second rounder

Naw, that's just an argument for competent management.

Leafs and Raptors both finally got it right by starting at the top. Rebuild at the bottom all you want - if executive management is mediocre, your team will be mediocre.
