I think the Heat takes this one, Belinelli /Ilyasova and the rest of the 76'ers bench will be overwhelmed.

Heat had the chance but some terrible defensive breakdowns in the closing minute did them in.

Philly now holds the commanding 3-1 lead.

Yes it’s hard to see the Heat coming back in this one. They really hurt for offence. They got up by 10 in the third but couldn’t pull away and then couldn’t go basket for basket....Full marks to the Hinkies for a professional win today....

Did you catch Ben Simmons and JJ having a conversation in the third during that hard foul fracas. Ole Ben almost crapped his pants. Maybe he grows up a little after that. Still think Embiid needs a rattle at times.

One series is done and in the books as the Pelicans got out the broom and finished off the TrailBlazers yesterday and the Jazz hung up a W at home to take the lead over the Thunder. Collar is getting tight again in OKC.

Unless there is one last mircacle left in Manu Ginobli's body the Spurs are most likely to suffer the same fate as the Blazers today.....For a franchise where most everything goes right... this is a year to forget in South Texas.

Back in the East where they are up off the chairs and coming out for Round 4 today

NewLooks at the Pacers The Pacers are up and if they can win today they will go back to Cleveland up 3 break points. The Pacers are getting a great performance from Bojan Bogdonovic to augment Olidipos and Turner. Stevenson is working hard to keep Lebron off balance but its like watching those really old KIng Kong movies where the other King keeps swatting things away like flys. Stevenson is a fly. Love played much better than at least I expected but its the others that are not stepping up. JR Smith is in JRSmith land and George Hill is a touch sore with his back. There is an APB out for Hood, Nance and Clarkson.
The supporting cast isn't good enough this game either.... Pacers W and Lebron goes home down 3 games to 1. Cue the Hot Takes on Monday morning.

Chowderheads at the Bucks. The Bucks won a game they had to win at home after getting beat on the road twice. Its a recurring theme in game 3's across the series. Today we get a look at how resilient the plucky warriors from Chowdertown are. They struggle a lot on offence. Not as bad as the Heat but close. They went 40 from the floor and 30% from the arc. That has to get better to at least high 40's and mid thirties for the Chowders to have a chance. Where its coming from is the big question. If the Bucks bottle up Brown and Horford again the Bucks tie up the series. They do.....Bucks W.

Raps at Wizzers. Seeing that most raps fans were hoping for the sweep (but no one called it) the series is pretty much following script. The Wizards did what they had to in game 3. Win or go on life support. They got good games from everyone in game 3 … however the regular season shows how wildly inconsistent the Wiz are from game to game. Its that inconsistency that hurt the Wiz all season long and tough guy theatrics won’t change that. The Raps get better games from their bench and a steady performance from their starters and head back to the ACC up 3 games to 1.

On the whistle tonight Derrick Stafford (#9) Derrick Collins (#11) Josh Tiven (#58)

EDIT... There were a few Raps fans who called the sweep....DogeLover1234, iblastoff, Joey, LJ2, SkywalkerAC, Superjudge, wayner and Octothorp... I salute you all for your confidence. Hell even stir the pot TRex has called the Raps in 5... GLF and Sonny are still fixated on Dec 21 2012. This does change from quarter to quarter in any given game.

More like the playoffs are hard. (For those panicking in raptor land)

So of the four top seeds in the playoffs ..3 of the four are tied up at 2 games each.
                              Pretty competitive series.

No idea what the mood is in Boston or Cleveland as the top seeds head home for big game 5s...but in Toronto the self loathing fan base is hyperventilating and looking for scapegoats. Any scapegoat will do because there is blame to be levied and no one..from the coach, the players, the medical staff and the equipment guys...is going to be spared and left blameless. Someone’s to blame and the hunt is on. Extra wood and rope are being delivered to the ACC for those identified to be burned at the stake.....or sent to Kingston....or something.

Cleveland escaped with their lives tonite and are happy to be heading home tied up. They won by 4 with Indy’s top scorer having a forgettable night. This might go 7.

Boston got beat twice away from home and are looking for a way to get some offence. A pretty tough fix at this time of the year. This will go 7.Will Brad Stevens be able to up his game to get the Chowders out of the first round for the second time in his career.

The Raps got beat twice late and are looking to find a way to stop turning the ball over 20 times a game. This will go 6.

WHo is in the most trouble of the top seeds then ?
None actually...they all play well at home and still have home court advantage in a home cooking league.

If pressed ....which team is really on the ropes?.......The Heat.

3 days till evening tip for the Raps. Should be an uplifting few days of “ I told you so” and ” I knew it” and it’s time to become the Phoenix Suns cuz that’s just so much better talk. In the interim the Raptor bandwagon is being refitted with extra shock absorbers and stabilizer bars when the herd jumps back on Wednesday night.

No Irving, Hayward, or Marcus Smart.

If you took off Kyle, DeMar, and Delon and made our starters Freddy/Norm/OG/Serge/JV, we wouldn't get very far against Bledsoe/Middleton/Giannis and company.
