Starters did what they should have. They didn't let Washington grab any momentum and put them in a small hole early in the game. It was obvious quite fast that the bench was once again not having a great night, but by the time the starters came back in they lost every bit of our the momentum and Washington felt unbeatable after a strong run, because they let it go on too long. They throw a wrench in that run to maintain any kind of lead, and the game and series are probably over after the 1st half.
Sure, the reffing was garbage most of the night. Of all the terrible calls, the only one I truly still can't believe is that they didn't at least review Wall's foul on OG. Still, I think regardless of that, if we keep that run from getting out of hand we take this game. You saw how hard it was for the starters to gain back momentum. We can't make them have to fight that hard. Especially after how well they started the game. It sucks to go sit feeling in control, and then come back in to a train wreck.

You know how people say about players "playing with a sense of urgency"? It feels like Casey needs to realize that means making the right adjustments in your lineup/tactics early, not waiting until the 3rd and thinking Lucas Noguiera is going to save your ass in a 4-out lineup. That's panic, not urgency.
We were basically like 15 minutes or something from winning the series, now we're back to 96 minutes away. So disappointing.
