But neither time did we need a 3. We were tied and down 1, respectively. If Fred had been in the game late and in a rhythm, I probably wouldn't mind.
Maybe just stick with OG, who's been shooting well in the playoffs and makes good cuts. Maybe Wright or Siakam. Siakam played a lot in the 2nd half and might have had a better rhythm. Could have tried to run a sneaky play for a guy like Siakam or OG to get a cut and easy bucket for the lead.
I don't know. Again, it's frustrating because it's a natural choice to have your best shooters and ballhandlers out there. Fred fits that bill. He obviously wasn't going to be running the play though, and him being cold makes it iffy to use him as a shooter.
