    From SN:

Following the NBA’s Feb. 7 trade deadline, the top of the East feels quite different. The Raptors, currently in second place at 43-16, made a big splash acquiring Marc Gasol for a package that included former draft picks Jonas Valanciunas and Delon Wright. On the buyout market, Toronto made more noise by signing one of the top point guards available in Jeremy Lin, who will step into a fairly significant role right away with Fred VanVleet sidelined for roughly a month with a thumb injury.

Elsewhere, the Philadelphia 76ers landed Tobias Harris, an all-star-calibre forward who was putting up a career year with the Los Angeles Clippers. Appearing in a handful of games already with the Sixers, Harris is fitting in nicely and transforms Philadelphia into a legitimate contender in the conference. Meanwhile, the first-place Milwaukee Bucks traded for three-point specialist Nikola Mirotic in a one-sided coup with the New Orleans Pelicans, a move that considerably bolsters their already-lethal offence. Among the contending teams, only Boston didn’t make a move — although theirs could come this summer.

I'll let someone else do the heavy lifting but I think you're find the Bucks and the Raps have the easiest remaining schedule.

thanks I know we have an advantage due to less games I think our lead will keep us at least second place but I think we will regret a loss or two to the bucks trying to push for first.

Toronto has the easiest reminaing schedule in the entire NBA, with a .450 opponent win %. The best team we play is OKC, twice
Bucks also have an easy schedule, 26th hardest.
Philly has a fairly easy schedule, but have to play the Bucks twice and the Warriors

Indy has the 8th hardest schedule and Boston has the 6th hardest schedule. They also have to play each other twice. And Sixers play both teams still. Lots to be decided in the 3-4-5 battle royal

                • Big piece of this is that year to date the Raps have had key injuries and sat their best guy a third of the season. Bucks have had good health and everything go their way all year, yet are barely ahead of the Raps. I think the Raptors can take #1 if they really want to, what it may come down to down the stretch is if we end up with any kind of tension between pushing for the #1 seed vs. pacing the roster a bit and making sure there's good health going into the playoffs. With a Lowry-led team, I always think doubling down on good health is the most important thing.

That said, a bit of a push down the stretch is a good thing to hit the playoffs firing on all cylinders. Couple years ago the Raps took the foot off too much and paid for it in the first round.

                    • 23 games left
                      16 vs sub .500 teams
2 road games vs .500+ teams (Nets,OKC), the other 5 at home.
2 btb's left, the back end of those 2 are at Cavs, home vs Knicks.

538's 17-6 projection seems pretty conservative.
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

He has devalued his contract by affirming therein no way in hell he is going to resign. All other teams now know that they don't have to offer as much. He could have quietly told management that he was leaving and forced them to trade him without devaluing the contract. Maybe he did. But he hasn't claimed that. So I would say he wasn't acting in good faith.
The questions about his FA would only intensify going forward. If his answer would be anything other than he wants to stay in NO, everyone would take that to mean that he is likely leaving. I agree that going public with a formal trade demand is less than ideal.

you are correct a lot to be decided I hope either philly or boston helps us out and beats the bucks as I do not not see either the 3, 4 5 crawling up to catch number two and we may catch the bucks. Okc will be hard for us though. I believe they have the hardest schedule though

There is every chance. Though the Raptors will need to play a lot better than they have been. Keep playing the kind of ball they have been and they'll start losing games.
