Another ho hum win. Starters unimpressive again - they really do run hot and cold, and the offence can really disappear on them if Lowry/Serge aren't on fire, or Kawhi isn't just scoring at will - admittedly those things have happened a lot early in the season.

Nice to see the bench work a little better. Not sure how much of that is "it's the Knicks" but still. OG and JV anchoring that unit is weird. Also nice that we got a couple tiny stretches of JV beside most of the starters.

Siakam, OG and JV were great. And that's plenty enough against the Knicks. Everyone else mostly got the night off.

CJ... He needs to get back into his role. I don't mind him missing shots, but him forcing contested looks and trying to drive into traffic is not what we need from him.

Yeah, he should have been fired a year earlier, but Colangelo let the pressure of COTY force him to keep Mitchell, a test Masai passed with flying colors.

Wonder if they would go for it if a future seconded was added. I mean, Korver will be 38 before the playoffs. Whichever team signs him knows they'd be getting him for 1-2 yrs tops. He's a better shooter then CJ but is also 7 yrs older. If the cavs are rebuilding anyway they might go for it.
