Why FVV is guarding bigger and more athletic guards is beyond me? Why eventhough they are depleted, starters can still extend their minutes vs. playing a Malachi or Lorenzo Brown (last game) for a longer period of time.
Nurse’s reactions to mismatches is a bit slower.
Better to learn now this early facing adversity but he has to learn fast to at least separate themselves from the chasers. Especially playing in their own homecourt.
Boston is next, ugh.

But the Friday game vs. a contender is also important.

GLF wrote: View PostYea we don't have an identity at all so far this season.
So many guys are outperforming expectations:
Kyle is drawing Steve Nash comparisons
Danny has turned back the clock and looks like an elite role player again
Kawhi has barely skipped a beat from his MVP-level play pre injury
Pascal won player of the week!!
Serge has bounced back to be a great contributor
Norm bounced back before getting injured
OG is progressing nicely and making no-look steals like a Baby Kawhi
Chemistry and identity are built over time... The fact that we have had so much success and improvement this early in the season bodes amazingly well for the rest of the year.
Let's just stay healthy and keep growing and we are going to be a force to reckon with.

FVV is alright in my book. Had a break out season last year, did a ton for us, was in the run for 6th man of the year, and now it's going to rough stretch under a new coach and usually playing on a lineup that no longer has Siakam, Poeltl or good Wright.
Not an excuse of course, he's gotta adapt, but changes in system/personel affect PG's the most, and not everyone can adapt as seamless and quickly as Lowry. It's a slump for sure, but until he actually has a bad year like Powell did to offset what he did last year, I personally won't pass judgment on the guy because he's had some bad games. Kid is winner and leader, and I'll be hoping he bounces back.

Celts
Bucks
Sixers
Pacers
Plus at the very least splitting games against:
