So the next six games are against ex-RapTerrence Ross in Orlando, ex-Rap Vince Quitter-Carter in Atlanta, the Beal and Wall fiasco, welcoming ex Rap James Johnson and Miami and finally, a bunch of guys you've never heard of playing well in Memphis before finally hosting the big one; GSW in Toronto.
Should be fun .... 4 out of 6?

Cavaliers look to part ways with J.R. Smith after trade request.
SportsNet:
J.R. Smith‘s bumpy-but-never-boring stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers is over.
The team said Tuesday that the disgruntled forward, who had requested to be traded earlier this season, "will no longer be with team as the organization works with JR and his representation regarding his future."
The Cavaliers will try to trade Smith. He will make $14.7 million this season, and $3.8 million of his $15.6 million salary for next season is guaranteed.
For now, the 33-year-old Smith is without a team

Cost
The cost to the Raptors would be insignificant. Since the Rockets have chosen to sideline Anthony, they are likely happy to receive any compensation in return for his services. The Raps may even choose to wait out the Rockets and pick up their man when he gets officially waived. In this case, they would only be paying his salary. The Atlanta Hawks are still paying Anthony $25.5 million this season after reaching a buyout agreement with him. This is why he is being paid the veteran’s minimum, $2.4 million. His contract only brings a $1.5 cap hit. This is a reasonable gamble for a player whose upside has shown him to be an elite player in the league. Compared to the paychecks Melo is cashing from Atlanta, this is an absolute steal.
