Face it, Lowry will be gone by next year since it will be his last year of the contract so why don't we trade for some of their young prospects and expiring this year and still make a strong playoff push given a change of scenery for Fulz.

Raps in: Markelle Fulz, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, 2019 2nd round pick
We develop Fulz so he will be our starting PG or at least until his ready, then start FVV. We can waive Chandler so he can sign with a playoff team or keep him and waive Malachi Richardson. I say, we keep Muscala, he would be a decent backup PF/C.
Lowry can form a strong team with JJ Redick, Jimmy Butler, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, although they will post a challenge for us when it comes down to playoff but it will take them at least a year or two for them to be on top and I don't see we playing them until the finals.
