I'd be very surprised if Philly turns him into a key piece.

But ya, I wouldn't be surprised if his time in Philly is numbered. I think a great trade is Fultz for Ariza. Win/Win for both teams. But, I guess let's see what some proper, informed Physical Therapy can do for him.

I still think this goes back to him overtraining that first summer. His shoulders looked gigantic and then the Sixers head trainer deleted the videos of him training Fultz with shitty form. If that caused the nerve compression and it went undiagnosed, the Sixers basically screwed this kid up for a year and a half.

all these fancy words just to say bust.

It's been a long day. I'll see myself out...

"Normal" thoracic outlet syndrome results in numbness and circulation issues in the hands, arms and shoulders. If the severity increases, the resulting and necessary surgery requires significant recovery times. This is serious stuff.

If you don't correctly diagnose the problem to start then you could spend a ton of time working on the wrong things. If this is now an accurate diagnosis then Fultz should start showing improvement in a couple of months or at the latest by early next season, because he is probably going to have to rediscover his form again.
If he continues to suck early next season then I think this will probably have been some cover to get him out of the spotlight.
