No they're fine with him on the court, as long as he does little actual playmaking. Bring the ball up, start the play (ie give it to Kyle, Kawhi, JV, etc.) and then move over and get ready to get the ball back if you're open. And if he does end up needing to penetrate, not force any bad shots unless the shot clock is down, otherwise just do a quick reset. That's what he was thriving on last year.

It really sucks, we tried to let him find his shot but its been a third of the season almost. I think he worked to much on his drive game this summer based on how he tried to start the season. I really hope norm comes back and plays so well that what you suggest comes true.
