our last big West Coast trip. So it should be smoother sail from here. We were there in every game that's why it's so upsetting but can't complain too much

            Team depleted

This was a 13 point lead but relying on Brown and the struggling OG and the nowhere to be found Miles to maintain the lead were too much of a burden.

Bench is no longer the bench we were so pampered with last season.

Ujiri should make moves but hard to get rid of a bottomed out value Miles.

Love it! Talk that shit Nurse. But we didn't lose because of officiating lol. Guys just couldn't make a single shot. Cause our defence has been great. Fuck injuries man. Cause trust and believe OG wouldn't have even been in the game if we were healthy to take those shots and CJ wouldn't have played that many minutes.
I relish negativity and disappointment. It is not healthy. Somebody buy me a pony.

                • There is a Huge difference with Pop as his biggest backer out in the court against the Refs and a new first NBA coach in Nurse

Nurse will get a 25K fine but may not make a dent

Reputation league and why it is so damn stupid but fans are still buying the product.

                  • If they give Malachi a chance to play, i'm sure he would do better than Miles and OG. Look at what McKinnie is doing in GSW.

How many chances are these two scrubs( OG and Miles) going to get here?

You can't seriously be putting OG and Miles in the same category? Fully agree with you on Miles; but OG is not a prospect you give up on. Especially not in his 2nd season.

                        • This was a schedule loss. They went out there with only one point guard (Lonzo Brown doesn't count), without Siakam and JV, on the last game of a gruelling west coast trip on the altitude (which it's always worse when your short of players), and they're still fighting/clawing to the end.

Losing is always sour, especially when it's this close, but I gotta say, they did the two main things that winning teams gotta do: (1)The offence generated open looks and (2) The played tenacious, high-end, tireless defence whether they were up 10 or down 10. In past years this is exactly the kind of game where they would succumb to distracted, uncommitted defence, and despite everything, we saw the opposite. If they shoot a still poor 28% instead of the unworkable 20% they did from 3, they win it. On to the next one.

Agree completely. Letting McKinnie get away was unfortunate. In a few brief appearances last year you could see that he could shoot. CJ has had lots of chances now and his defence is usually just awful. But Norm should be better than Richardson and will be back any day.

Let's see. He's shooting 25% from the FT line, horrific 3pt shooter, you knew he's going to turn the ball over whenever he handles the ball, ZERO basketball awareness(very Bruno Caboclo like). There was a play late in the 1st where the Raptors should've taken the final shot but OG decided to drive the ball, got fouled, and missed two freethrows. Again, zero basketball awareness.

How long is the leash? he's a LIABILITY whenever he's on the floor. What does he do well?

                              • Richardson is not the solution. For some reason there's a perception he's a good shooter but this is his 5th year on the league and he's a 29.9% 3pt shooter. For some reason defenders still respect CJ's shot, so his gravity on the court would still be better than Richardson's, which creates more space for the other 4 players on the court.

That said, that's not enough reason to keep CJ on the rotation. What we need is Norm back. Small sample but Norm was shooting 40.9% from 3 with much improved defence compared to last year before he got hurt.
