The Pacers have been waiting in Toronto for the Raptors since Saturday. Coming of an OT win in Chicago, they come in as the hottest team in the league, winners of their last 6. The last lost for the pesky team from Indianapolis came right here in Toronto on December 19th. They set the pace for the first 3 quarters before the Raptors switched to small ball in the final Q and the game came down to the final possession with a last second foul by OG going uncalled. Lets hope Drake did his job and took Cojo and the boys out for a night on the town.

Your Raptors earned what has to be one of the top 3 wins of the season in Milwaukee Saturday night. After a sluggish few weeks we saw a performance reminiscent of the team we came to love early in the season. The starters all logged heavy minutes last night and with the status of both KL's unclear the raps will be looking for a spark from an unlikely source. Expect a tough game but if the raptors can play with the same energy they gave in the 2nd half in Milwaukee they will finish off a tough week with 3 out of 4 wins.

    GO RAPS
To be the champs you got to beat the champs

Dipo will be a handful, may need to throw multiple guys at him. He seems to finally be recovered from his knee issue last month. I actually think Delon might be a useful cover on him at times. He's a step too fast for Danny and too powerful for Freddy.

Also watch out for Sabonis, he is having an excellent season and we are going to really feel the loss of JV against him.

But Kawhi is going to destroy Bogdanovic. This will be his first back to back of the year so hopefully he makes the most of it in potentially limited minutes.

Last game against the pacers it seemed like the raps struggled against their size without JV. As soon as we went small they had a tough time hanging with us.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see OG get the start tonight to boost his confidence. He has that Indiana connection

It's almost february and Kawhi still can't play in back to back games?

Raps are basically giving this game away. The Pacers are just 1 game back in the standings.

No problem with Kyle and Kawhi being out tonight - the message was sent last night.

Could see some extended Boucher minutes tonight. Also, that's a late start for a Sunday game in T.O. Can remember when 1pm used to be the norm. Helps the Raps get a little bit more rest, hopefully.

Time to showcase OG as a starting SF before the deadline. Hopefully he respond so Ujiri can net a better return if he ever trade him.

What message? that they beat a tired Milwaukee team playing in the 2nd game of a back to back? that they needed Siakam's career high and all of Kawhi's 38 mins to do it?

I agree with that. Rest Kawhi who carried the team along with the starters, and if Lowry is not 100%, sit him too. With the injuries it would have been really tough to get both of these games against two of the top teams in the league right now. We got the more important one yesterday with a heavy load on the starters, use this one to help the bench work out their chemistry.

The message was that even with Giannis going for 43 pts 18 boards (60% for 3), we beat them, on the road, without our startinng point guard, with 4 players scoring over 20pts, and smothering defence that completely dismantled Budenholzers offece scheme on the second half. This was a statement win against the best team in the league right now.

He needs to learn to play well off the bench though
I relish negativity and disappointment. It is not healthy. Somebody buy me a pony.
