Go Raps! JV is up to questionable from doubtful. Might be his return. Could also be short-staffed, depending on how trade deadline goes, and very few players seem 100% safe.

The angst on these boards the past couple of weeks have been something to behold. People are already suggesting this season is going to be a failure because of a low 3 point percentage and the difficulties integrating Kawhi into the offense.

            The bottom line is this:
            - The Raptors are most likely going to win 40 games before they lose 17. (Sorry about the jinx on this game I'll take full responsibility.)
            - Their schedule is made of literal cupcakes the rest of the way. They've got one Boston game, two OKC games, and that's it for teams that currently have a winning percentage above .600.
            - All they have to do to get to 55 wins, which would hit the over and put them basically where everyone thought they'd be this season with the amount of adaptation they had to do to integrate Kawhi plus the experimentation of trying to find the right playoff mix, is go 16-11 the rest of the way. 16-11 would be absolutely dreadful given the schedule they have. Unless they collapse, they are going to exceed the REGULAR SEASON expectations for the year
            - This is all given the fact that Valanciunas and Lowry have both missed a lot of games, and Kawhi has missed a game every back to back plus an extra week for "load management"

This season was always about getting things in order for the playoffs. Everyone can relax! I know the preference would have been to start slowly and kick it into gear near the playoffs, but growth isn't linear. You need a few things not to work so you can find exactly what works.
That is a normal collar. Move on, find a new slant.

Welcome back JV. This is a great matchup for him to return against a mediocre and not too physical Hawks team. Maybe Jeremy Lin gets a glimpse of his new home team?

Were we the first to use that term? Subtle raps/Kawhi jab?

Nah Aldridge was listed as a out due to load management earlier that night. Just Kerr making jokes.

Lonzo averages 9 and 5 in 30 min lol...he's a well below average starting guard, he's worse across the board then everybodys hated FVV...why is he still discussed
