Took them a couple days to come out, so that means a handful of lawyers and NBA employees were put on this. Which means it clearly ruffled their feathers. Which makes it look even worse. This is the longest writeup I've seen the NBA make about a news article ever.

They're being pedantic and trying to deflect. The arguments are actually quite weak and none of them address the elephant in the room.

But hey "NOTHING TO SEE HERE" -NBA

The NBA of course is trying to deflect.. but they make the ESPN article look really bad. If they can debunk even one or two things the credibility of the ESPN piece goes down the toilet. But it wasn't just one or two things.

Tim probably fixed games. He probably has some friends that helped him fix games (that are still reffing) but at this point you can also take the NBA's word for it since their analysis feels more credible than ESPN's.

Unless someone can prove the NBA wrong here... they have the upper hand here. ESPN should have hired a better writer to write that article.. or at least have better sources.

A bit surprised.. Serge hasn't done well against LMA in the past.. could be that the practice they had with Marc didn't go as well as expected. Or Nurse really just doesn't want to hurt Serge's feelings.

Or he sees Marc more like JV. Marc is slower than Serge. Marc is a better defender than JV but he's still slow. And he might want the Raptors to play faster.. at least at the beginning of the game.

Spurs blitzed the Raptors last time out. So hoping we can blitz them in this one.
