Nah Knicks will always Knicks. As soon as they start to be a little bit better they will sale the farm and go back to their old ways. Dolan is impatient owner surrounded by yes men, they ain't going to wait 4 or 5 years but will take shortcuts by throwing big money at free agents. The recent contracts given to Ron Baker and Hardaway Jr, seem like a bad start.
LOL...but even lab rats learn after a while. Think the Knicks stay the course on this.
The Baker signing is a real headscratcher though.
So it looks like Wade has finalized his buyout from the Bulls. I was expecting this mid-season. The Bulls just gave their season ticket holders the finger. Man they're going to be bad and unwatchable. Who is on their roster?
EDIT: Sorry, this is according to ESPN.com

If Lavine is still injured, they got literally one starter -- one of the Lopez brothers! I think they're trying to set an all-time loss record. And doesn't Mirotic play the same position as the kid they just drafted? and Portis? and Felicio? They got 4 PFs on guaranteed deals, and a one man starting lineup. 6 PGs named who (EDIT: heading to camp)and a single starter on that roster...man, that's going to be rough. When the Raps lose to this version of the Bulls guys need to protest at the ACC.
Tier 2:
- Houston Rockets
- Oklahoma City Thunder
- Cleveland Cavaliers
- San Antonio Spurs
Tier 3:
- Boston Celtics
- Toronto Raptors
- Washington Wizards
- Then a bunch of teams in the west might/could be around this level (LAC, MIN, MEM, POR, DEN)

Wonder if this is the year the Spurs start to leak oil. Leonard is incredibly good..but Aldridge seems to be sliding and after that..hard to see who elevates the team on the floor make the WCF. Popovich is a great coach...but it's going to be tough.
If Powell morphs into a 20 ppg , fast break demon this year....are you moving the Raps to the 2nd Tier ?

No.
The teams in the second tier have multiple players who are better than Lowry even (except the Spurs).
