Congrats to Canadians: Jordan Bachynski, Dallin Bachynski and Phillip Scrubb on being named to the Toronto Raptors Summer League Roster!

Scrubb would be such a cool story if he somehow just blew away Summer League and went HAM.

... future continental championships, like EuroBasket and FIBA Americas, which will become stand-alone tournaments without any direct qualification for the Olympics or World Cup, as they have currently. The revamped global calendar for the sport will see games scheduled during the NBA season, likely ensuring that the top tier of players will be unavailable for their national teams.FIBA has mapped out four annual windows when such contests would take place: in November, February, June and September, with provisionally two games, one each at home and on the road, in each period.Last edited by stretch; Fri Jul 10, 2015, 01:01 PM.

I think Powell's got a real shot at getting to the NBA rotation level... maybe not out of training camp but soon. Their roster is a bit of a mess following the Jordan fiasco, plus Carlisle is already being impressed and comfortable with Powell from the time he spent in the rotation (mostly due to injury) last season, plus Dallas may finally be realizing that they can only tread water for so much longer with their habit of trading away every prospect they get.
