Umm... wow. We saw totally different games then. Buycks was horrid, called his number all night, even when he tried to pass they would be off target or intercepted, and he was nonexistent on defence.

Kabongo on the other hand, did very well in his limited minutes. He showed a tight handle and quick first step. His defense was pesty. He even hit some jump shots (though one 3 was after his screener fouled) and scored a powerful and-1 through contact.
"buycks was actually a +4 while on the court while kabongo was a -32"
Buycks had 21 points while going 2-2 from 3 and 9-10 from the free throw line. He only missed 6 shots. He had 3 assists
Kabongo had 4 points, went 1-3 and only had 2 assists.
Only positive for Kabongo was that he had only two turnovers less than Buycks

So... What are you and the other Buycks haters talking about?

      • Btw im not saying Buycks deserves a roster spot but he is playing better than Kabongo and the other guy. Hodges looksl ike he can be promising.
Anyways it kinda sucks but Caboclo was a bit dissapointing going 3-10 fgm/a and 1-6 from 3. Showed some great potential again tho

At the end of the day. There are only THREE NBA caliber players on this roster. Bruno, Noguiera and Daniels. The others are all D-Leaguers at best.

The Raptors have 1 spot remaining on their 15 man roster. They need a 3rd string PG. I don't think that player is on this SL team.

          • The guards all suck. The best is Machado but he turns it over once for every pass. At least he ain't hogging.

                • Did Whiteside not play? I was hoping to see him in action.

                      • Amir Johnson was also 2 years away from being 2 years away when he was drafted.

first 2 years he barley played, then the following 2 years he played but didn't get too many minutes and by the fifth year he was ready to get meaningful minutes and it just so happened he started it in Toronto.

Bruno is a 5 years investment project, hard to say how it will all turn out.

Lol Bruno is not 2 years away from being 2 years away

I say he's 2 years away from being a starter or 6th man, unless raptors pick up strong SF before Bruno is given a chance

He doesn't look any more raw than Ross or Demar rookie season.

Yes and you already know that from watching 2 summer leagues games of him?! Quincy Miller just dropped 23 points on the Raptors, he should be a starter now then!! (sarcasm)
