  • Game #25 Toronto Raptors @ Washington Wizards: Wednesday February 10, 7 p.m. EST

Well the Raptors showed some life after Nick Nurse ejections and Lowry's injury, but the more games pass, the need of a legit center is desperately needed. On to the next game against the Wizards.
The Toronto Raptors have been in good recent form, going 4-1 to kickstart the new month. The Raptors have the seventh-best offensive rating ahead in the competition after a slow start to their campaign.
Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have split their last four games; however, they will roll out at home with momentum behind them, as they bested the Chicago Bulls in their previous outing.

    Injury Report

    Wizards: None

Toronto: OG Anunoby (Out), Kyle Lowry (Day-To-Day)

    Starting Lineup:

    Washington

    Toronto

Last game was my first Game thread victory!!!! (1-2)
Lets us string another winning streak!!!!
    Lets Go Raptors!!!!

Be interesting to see if Kyle suits up. I hope he sits though as his wonky back could turn more serious easily.
Interested in seeing how Westbrook will play too

Even though we’ve clearly taken a big step back this year, we’re going up against a fully healthy Wizards team with two all stars and we have two integral starters out with injuries, yet I still expect to win this.

We’re not a championship team right now, but we’re definitely better than a lot of folks (even on this board) give us credit for.

Unavoidably the Alex Lee revenge game is here.

OG was upgraded to questionable.. so that's a good sign. After this game the schedule gets tougher. Play a bunch of tough teams with two Minny games sandwiched in between.

But it seems we're only 2 games back of 3rd seed. What a crazy year.

Play like we did in the 4th against the Grizzlies, and we win this one handily.

            Tons of parity this year, some caused by covid and lineup issues. But even without that, there's probably the Lakers at the top, then 3 or 4 "elite" teams right below them that could easily knock them off, then there's another 4 to 6 "good" teams, then theres like 15 "meh" teams with several holes and issues but are still pretty good. (We are in the big pile of "meh", but at least we're closer to the top of THAT group!"}

There's not even that truly god awful couple teams this year, even like Detroit, Wiz and T Wolves have had injury issues, but can all sneak up on you and take a W

Its actually Raptors tradition to have a bum (or, "glue guy") starting at SF. The last 2 years were an anomaly.

I was pretty excited at the Bembry pickup to start the year. In his draft year he was one of the top ranked guys from the anayltic sites. That obviously isnt true, but you could always see a solid all around game. Type of guy who doesn’t do much for a bad team but can elevate good players - need a couple of those guys.

Lonzo is a similar guy. I love Lonzo but you look at Bembry for the min or Lonzo for 20+ mill its no chance.

Yeah, I like Bembry too. Just kind of fits the mold of the Carroll/Fields/Salmons "glue guy" wing that we had for years before Kawhi/OG

Lowry as of the 130 NBA injury report is not listed.
In football it means he is a go.
Not sure if it means the same thing in the NBA. They could dress him and just DNP-CD him.

                          OG is questionable
                          Yuta is questionable.
McCaw, still the fan favourite, remains out.

There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

As long as Bembry doesn't dress like pirate and start calling himself JYD 3.0, then it's all good. Fields and Salmons were much better ballhandlers than Carroll, as is Bembry. Mofo cost us a first-round pick to dump his salary on the Nets too.

Hope Yuta can play tonight. From a good read on the athletic (Koreen), this is a huge story in Japan tonight. Go Raps.
