There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Stanley Johnson will fulfill his destiny as the thorn in the side of Raptors fandom.

Not quite yet. Bulls are 2 wins ahead of the Raps.

If Bulls go 0-3 and Raps go 3-0, Raps take the 8 seed.
If Bulls go 1-2 and Raps go 3-0, we tie, and use a coin flip to decide who gets the extra ball / draft position.
If Bulls go 0-3 and Raps go 2-1, we tie, and use a coin flip to decide who gets the extra ball / draft position.

So if the Raps lose tonight, they get the 7th seed. If they win, the Raps could still tie with the Bulls. Head 2 Head does not matter for lottery seeding.

basically if the bulls win tonight its all good and the bulls will want to win tonight because they don't have their own pick... don't forget that.

What a disaster for the Bulls new front office coughing up 2 first-round picks and don't even make the play-in? Yikes.

Yup, if Bulls win its definitely a lock.

                  Let's assume:
Bulls go 1-2 (with their win against Toronto).
Raptors go 2-1 (with their loss to Chicago).

Bulls will finish the season 30-42.
Raptors will finish the season 29-43.

And they gave up WCJ who's a former lottery pick (7th pick in 2018). I mean Vuc is an all-star, but that was a stupid haul to get him.

The Magic did well for themselves. Question for them is can they actually rebuild successfully.

well they are going to cough it up either way unfortunately for them.

well I think they have a huge shot at a top 4 pick... and If they get suggs or Davion Mitchell or both then they are in a GOOD place .. I don't think they will want someone like Mobley.

Bulls also gave up a big chunk of cap relief in the form of Otto Porter's expiring contract. That's valuable currency to a lot of teams.

                            • Pretty wild that we thought about the best we could would be to finish 7th and that's exactly where we're at, and we even got some competitive basketball out of the deal and seemingly avoided the true stink of losing.

                              • What's really going to be wild is if the Raps get back to the top of the mountain after a single down year as opposed to GSW, who are going on two down years in a row.
