I don't understand Ingles on defense at all. Clippers drive, Gobert collapses to the rim off Man (30+ point game rn) in the corner, Clippers kick it to Mann in the corner - wide open for the easiest 3 in the game, Ingles, who is guarding his man on the wing, takes a direct look at the wide open Mann, then decides to take half a step towards his own man rather than rotating to the corner. He just did it twice in 3 possessions and Mann drained the wide open 3 both times. What is the scheme where you leave the opponent's hottest shooter wide open for the most efficient 3PA in basketball?
Gobert kind of floating around the key not really knowing what to do because he's on the floor with 9 perimeter players and the other team is 5 out is kind of hilarious, ngl
Jazz risking shooting themselves out of this game clanking 3's is one of the problems with 3-pt heavy basketball. 3's are better attempts in aggregate but sometimes just a bucket or two makes the difference or holds the lead or puts away a game, in those cases get to the rim and take the 50+% FGA or get to the FT line instead of taking the 35% 3PA. There are times you just need the bucket, not necessarily the 50% more points.
Kawhi gave the Raptors that, constantly stopped runs and stopped the bleeding and settled the offence, kept games under control. Raps didn't have that the last two years, leaves you prone to wild runs.

Jazz are shooting over 50% from behind the arc tonight. Of course, so are the Clippers
Their defence has officially been hacked by LAC's Big Three offence featuring Pandemic P, Reggie Jackson, and Terrence "Who?" Mann. Actually kind of hilarious. Jazz don't know what to do.
I'd fire Quinn Snyder on the spot. This is one of the worst coaching performance i've seen in a while. He hasn't made a single adjustment in this series. Dude is stubborn as hell. I don't care that Gobert won the DPOY award. He's a MASSIVE liability out there against the Clippers small ball lineup. He can't guard/switch on shooters.
They keep trying to play zone with Gobert in the middle and LAC keeps finding the same corner 3. Or Reggie Jackson's getting layups in the Big Baguette's face. DPOY who?
Delete all those posts in this forum about signing Gobert. Don't bring that regular season front runner anywhere near this franchise.
