  • Man we need to rebound just cannot win without this. Nice defensive effort in the fourth but needs to be consistent game wide. Washington is a offensive offensively challenged team but second and third chance's by them were the difference.

Fans liked it. He was given positive reinforcement for it. If there is one guy who I think is actually doing his job, it's Masai.

This is the problem with thinking the Raps defence was good - Washington's offence always sucks. That's a normal game for them.

        So far,
        Washington D = 1
        Toronto O = 0

it was provocative though, it got the people going.
Let your play on the court do the talking. Not to mention it's not exactly classy or sportsmanlike.

Meh. People would have been going regardless, it's the playoffs.
Jurassic park? Haven't seen that anywhere else. Got the whole league's attention. For a middle of the road playoff team. The raps have outstanding support.

            • I'm not sure if this will help anyone sleep at night but people have always described us as a team that takes threes and gets to the free throw line. One is a bit dependent on the other. Say what you will about Casey's coaching, Lowry's terrible game, JV's ineffectiveness. We shot 6/29 from three. If we shoot 7/29, we win (maybe). We shoot 9/29 (still less than 33%), it's a blow out. Regardless of all the other bad stuff that happened. That sort of explains our season. If we didn't hit threes, we seemed like we couldn't beat anyone. If they fell, it looked like we could beat anyone. It's a hell of a way to go but more often than not, we're not going to go 6/29. There were a bunch of wide open looks. There might just not be enough time in a 7 game series to even it out.

Where the hell was it today??

This is the Playoffs not the fucking Ymca, shot selection is uglier than Sam Cassell

He committed to them did he not?
He gave them a chance to prove themselves which they deserved, there has been no reason for him to blow it up yet

that has nothing to do with Masai. It was fans doing work

                      • Look at it this way. If we move past the first round great! If not Casey is most likely gone. Its a win win situation

And people say BC was a salesman. Not sure how this is all that different. Saying the real Raptors team was the one from earlier this season, the fans have to learn how to win, "if guys go out and fight".... all GMs are salesmen and I don't think Masai is any different. Using a swear again reeks of calculation and inauthenticity.

He better be gone right after elimination then.

its kinda not win win situation.

if we slip past the first round and get roasted sweep in the second round. thats such a loss. cuz we know this team is mediocre.

Well I was told this team is a contender for ECF with a better coach.
