Laugh at Twitter as much as you want but gives the average Joe a look into some personalities that were for so long filtered to nothing by print and screen media. This is hilarious. I can't wait to see Cuban's emoji.

Sonny Weems agrees to a two-year, $5.8 million deal with the Phoenix Suns.
2.9 Mill a year...... not bad cash. Just under what we got Bismack for, isn't it?

Now Cody can stop posting about this guy and we have a poster to blame if anything goes wrong!!

We won't hear back from him. He dissapears into thin air and reappears when you least expect it. Ten is an enigma. Ten is a legend. Ten for the motherfucking win.

Until then, opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they most often stink

        • So, does Wesley Matthews get to change his mind too if DJ is not coming to the Mavs?

You do know that he's been a very good player in Europe this whole time, right?

Yep. CSKA Moscow is a powerhouse of Euro basketball, one of the few perennial contenders in Euroleague. He was one of their stars.

I think he's probably taking a paycut to come back. 5.8 mil pre-tax over two years is less than his level players usually make in Europe.

Yep, it's often surprising how players translate or don't translate between these leagues.

Damn it, the Raptors should have gone after him. Another former Raptor ala PJ Tucker who went to Europe and returned to be signed by the Suns. Expect him to contribute and Raptor fans bemoaning with threads about why we didn't sign him.

Don't compare the two, Weems has improved in Europe and would have been a better replacement for Lou or Ross (if he were to be traded).

hope he follows PJ and actually succeeds. raptors arent exactly an NBA develpment factory and it wouldnt surprise me if players killed their careers here

Josh Childress also flamed out after coming back from overseas and he was actually quite good before he left.
