It's official! Toronto is getting a new WNBA team (for 2026).

Good call on this thread. I like that they announced they will play out of Coca-Cola Coliseum. 8000 seat arena, the Marlies and the PWHL team play out of there. I would think they should be able to have good crowds and create a nice atmoshpere.

Yup.. owned by Kilmer Sports (Tannenbaum). Teresa Resch left the Raptors to join his new company as well.

I don't think they have rights to the name technically but I remember people talked potential WNBA team on podcast and WNBA players instantly thought of UConn and it wasn't popular.
