Usually when a shitty team fires a coach, there's a small bump of energy and then they revert back to what they were before. Shitty teams are shitty teams.
No sympathy for Hornacek due to his comments after they beat us, but his GM has been a master of causing dysfunction the past couple of years.

The Raptors reddit believes in positivity so hard that you get downvoted for being slightly critical, which is insane. Even on a 11-game winning streak, you want to look for indicators of playoff success, and be wary of possible indicators of playoff failure.

That might be the problem. We play them tomorrow night. That's the "small bump of energy window". Oh well, can't have championship aspirations if we're worried about that.

Getting back to the game tonight, one Denver player I haven't seen mentioned is their 20 yr old C Jokic. Saw some of a Nuggets game recently and he looked terrific especially when he was zipping passes out of the high post. How the hell did he last till pick 41?
