  • Lowry 30
    Demar 26
    Carroll 29
    Patterson 27
    Jonas 24
    Bismack 23
    Joseph 24
    Powell (turned 23 today)

From the list above the only people I can see that might go on a little bit of a decline are Lowry and Carroll considering their ages.

We still have a pretty young roster, Im sure everyone from Demar and Jonas to Powell and Joseph will be even better next year.

Moral of this; I see this Raptors team being even better next year and we're already in the ECF this year.

    • Well guys.

This is it. This is where we prove we are actually competitors in this series. If we come home with the lead, we can safely say we've booked our tickets into the the NBA Finals.

The most Raptors thing to do would be to lose tonight and look awful doing it, then squeak out a narrow game 6 win setting up a game 7 with every Raptors fan on the verge of a heart attack, then dominate that game.

People are getting way too confident after Game 4. Winning 2 of the next 3 is going to be really, really hard.... Really hard.

            • The only thing I can safely say is that I wouldn't feel safe saying anything about the rest of this series.

              • Two thoughts. Did anyone find it odd that when asked about JV, Casey basically telegraphed things by saying that he wouldn't want him on the floor chasing Frye around if the Cavs were playing small. Now that may be obvious but it's very unlike Casey to even say things like that. Bluffing? Also, why is there such a difference on home court? The fans must count for something but that can't be all of it. Might it come down to the actual court? Does Kyle know he is a foot left of the "air canada" wording so that's where he launches his deep three? Is the paint 2-3 inches different in Cleveland so that when Demar unleashes his elbow jumper, it banks off the rim and out instead of in? Hopefully the streak changes tonight.

                  This x 1000000000000000

I genuinely do NOT know which way this series is going... It depends on so many factors.

As for the Raptors winning in game 7 in Cleveland... how often has the home team (other than the Raptors) lost game 7 in the playoffs...?

                  • Here's the problem. The most talented player in this series is still LeBron James. There's a reasonable chance that he just takes over 2 of the remaining 3 games and leaves all of us shrugging our shoulders because he's LeBron James.

It's definitely the fans. Home court has always been a huge advantage throughout history

In a lot of ways, this is the perfect game for JV to come back. The Cavs' defensive focus is now going to be firmly on finding a way to slow down Lowry and DeMar, which will open things up for other guys.
There gonna trap the Lowry PnR tonight. They did it some in the last game

Even if we win tonight, we still can't safely say we made it to the Finals. They have Lebron, and he has been in these type of situations countless times.

                          • It's not just the fans.. on the home court you can spend more time practicing in your own gym. Your routines are more defined since you play more games at home. Can go hang out with your family.. sleep in your own bed, etc.

Heh well he's shooting 64% in this series right now and we're all tied up. It's more reasonable for that number to drop instead of increase. Sure he could shoot more shots but LeBron the Distributer has fared better through his career than LeBron the Scorer.
