Embiid is right. it was obvious to anyone watching dudley wants to get into with a player better them him. tried to mess with Simmons he took the bait. tried to get joel their but he knew better. butler screwed up and engaged. it's a win for the Nets. Joel was smart to stay out of it
You cant play tough guy when you feel like it. Embiid wants to be Bill Russell he can’t act like an 8 year old.

Yikes. Looks like everyone hates the refs. TBF - I thought Embiid made a play for the ball.

The problem was Embiid started it with a hard foul. Fine. It wasn’t a bad one. Dudley was right to step in for his young teammate. No issue with that. The Embiid... runs away and leaves his mates to deal with the mess he started. That’s poor form. Embiid can sell it as being smart but I guarantee you Gasol isn’t backpedaling in that situation. Plus, his little act got Butler ejected.

Disagree you can still play tough ad physical to intimidate a team with the rules and avoid ejections or suspension. Id perfer the way embiid handled it compared to say how ibaka might have reacted. Thys how you end up with a scrub like chriss costing you 3 games. If your a key player your too important to play into the likes of jared dudley. Nothing wrong with what dudley did that his job i respect it actually. If philly loses that game no one is praising jimmy and instead likely gets the blame for the lose
If if you don’t want to get involved. Don’t elbow a guy in the head and then take a swing at his head in another game. You can’t do that and run away. Guaranteed his teammates weren’t happy.

But he didn’t play within the rules. He fouled an opponent. Hard. You knew that was going to cause a skirmish. You don’t start the skirmish and then run away. Butler was ejected cause he had to step in to defend his teammates when Embiid ran away.

Cheer for a seven game series... as to who wins.... I just can't help myself.... Fuck Boston
