    • I like it, it's a very good idea, and BryCo and Co. should definitely go there.

How about we draft one of Kanter/Valanuciunas/Montijunas and trade Bargnani for Beasley.

            • Some boards have him late first others have him early second round. Unless he has stellar workouts I don't see how his stock would rise enough to matter much.

He was ranked the number 1 player coming out of high school last year. He was suspended 9 games to start the year due to improper gifts (or something along those lines) and then had a foot injury. He could be a sleeper - emphasis on could.

                • Shelby is one of those guys who would REALLY benefit from a return to school. With the Morris twins gone, he has a chance to hone his game and be more involved on the offensive end.

                  • I'm starting to dig Vesely more and more. The kid has a lot of length and athleticim.. and tries to dunk EVRYTHING. Really exciting.

Perhaps, but I am more for getting another pick to go after a second top-10 pick. If we have a cheap chance to get Selby to back up Derozan I am still not sure with his size.

If we pick up a lower 1st round pick in this year's draft who would you go for?
                        backup PG: Nolan Smith?
backup SG: Selby or Shelvin Mack?
                        backup SF: Honeycutt, Leonard?
backup PF/C: Biyombo, Tristan Thompson if he drops, Faried?
Obviously depends on where we would get one perhaps at Philly or lower Minny pick? In there Biyombo (could he at worst be a reggie evans?) could certainly be worth taking a flier on, or perhaps Smith. Any of these you would go for in this scenario? Others?

I'm not sure why but NBAdraft.net just dropped him down like four slots and bumped Kanter into the 3rd pick.

Probably looking at the Raptors statement that Bargs is available and the comments out of the exit interviews. They could interpret that as a C first draft for the Raptors.
